How to use this Guide:
----------------------
This is a list of every Single, Double, and Triple Technique in Chrono
Trigger. This list is designed to help you keep track of all those
techniques. This guide is also designed to be printed out, so you can
check off or cross out the techniques as you learn them.
I used Microsoft Word 97 to type this Guide. I used 1" margins on the
top and bottom, and 1.25" on both sides. For best results, copy and
paste all the text into Word 97 or higher, then print it out on normal
8.5" by 11" paper. Page numbers are used to help you identify the page
breaks.
The How To Guide and General Notes can be found on this first page.
The Single Techniques are on page 2, Double Techniques on 3, and Triple
Techniques on 4. Pages 5 and 6 has a list of all the techniques. It
lists the Single Techniques, and all the Double and Triple Techniques
that use it. The last page has some hints and tips designed to
maximize the strength of these Techniques.
If you need to write any notes in as you play, I've included plenty of
room at the bottom of most of the pages. I find writing things down
helpful, but, like, you know, whatever.
General Notes:
- To perform a technique, your character must be "ready" (bar next to
his/her name full and white and his/her battle menu open.) Use a
technique by choosing Tech. (or Comb. if 2+ party members are ready),
then choosing a technique, then choosing which allies/enemies to use
it on. You must also have enough magic points (MP).
- For a Double or Triple Technique, all the party members involved with
that technique must be ready.
- You must first learn BOTH Single Techniques before you can learn the
appropriate Double or Triple Technique.
- Double and Triple Techniques labeled "White" cure your party, "Light"
are lightning attacks, "Water" are water and/or ice attacks, "Fire"
are fire attacks, "Phys." are physical attacks, "Shadow" are a
combination of 2 different types of magic, and "???" are unknown.
"Other" do not fall into any of the previous categories.

Notes on Single Techniques:
- Single Techniques are listed in the order in which they are learned.
- An asterisk indicates a magic spell. A # indicated a technique that
can be used out of battle.
- In the game, a technique with a star indicates a magic spell, one in
yellow indicates that it can be used out of battle, and one in gray
in the one you're currently gathering tech. points for.
- Crono's Lightning, Marle's Ice, Lucca's Fire, and Frog's Water are
learned by talking to Spekkio at the End of Time. Amass tech points
to learn the rest.

HELPFUL HINTS
* There are about 30 to 50 Magic Tabs throughout the adventure. Using
one on a party member will increase his/her magic rating by one, and
therefore increase the strength of his/her magic spells.
* Ethers, Mid Ethers, and Full Ethers restore 10, 30, and 60 MP,
respectively. HyperEthers restore all MP's. All four can only b
used on one character.
* Equipping Crono with a Red Katana or Frog with a Rune Blade will
increase their magic ratings by 4.
* Equipping any character with a Magic Scarf, Magic Seal, or Magic
Ring will increase their magic rating by 2, 5 and 6 points,
respectively.
* Equipping any character with the SilverStud (found in the Denadoro
Mountains) will decrease his/her magic use by 50%. It's like having
twice as many MP's.
* Equipping any character with the Gold Stud (found behind the black
door in Trann Dome, 2300 AD) will decrease his/her magic use by 75%.
It's like having 4 times an many MP's. Very useful for spells like
Luminaire or Flare.
