This Mini-FAQ will mainly consist of the changes between the original
Super Famicom Chrono Trigger and the new remake of the game on
PlayStation. For a detailed walkthrough or general gameplay FAQ,

1. Revision History

Version 0.5 - November 15, 1999
First version of the Chrono Trigger PSX Mini-FAQ. Millenial Fair
and Factory button changes complete.
Version 1.0 - January 15, 2000
Completed Blackbird and Saving Lucca's Mom button changes. Eliminated
the upcoming section on Omake Mode since there is already detailed
information available on it.
- The Millenial Fair:
The buttons for the Clone Game (40 SP) in Norstein Bekkler's Lab
are different. They are as follows on the PSX controller:
L1 = Left Arm
R1 = Right Arm
Square = Laugh
Circle = Surprise
- The Factory:
In the Factory in 2300 AD, the buttons are different as well. In order
to move the crane to remove the two barrels in the conveyer belt area,
these two commands must be inputted:
Triangle, Circle
X, X
The password for the locked door in the Super Famicom version was
XABY, but in the PSX version, you need to press:
Triangle, Circle, X, Square.
- The Blackbird:
After escaping the Blackbird in the Dark Ages and defeating Dalton
on the Epoch, press:
Square - Fires the laser which destroys the Blackbird. Then press...
Triangle - Lands the Epoch.
- Saving Lucca's Mom:
During the Fiona's Villa sub-quest, there is a sequence where Lucca
enters a gate which takes her back home. Her mother, Lara, gets
trapped on a conveyer belt which can only be stopped by entering
a password into the computer. There is limited time to do this.
