The purpose of this document:

This document (in conjunction with its companion document) is a hints
resource for all 99 levels of Hirameki Mode (Puzzle Mode) in Konami's
puzzle game Tokimeki Memorial Taisen Tokkaedama (PSX version only; the
SSat version, alas, has completely different Hirameki Mode levels...).
Solutions are not presented in this file. For complete solutions to all
99 Hirameki Mode levels, you can consult my Hirameki Mode solutions file,
which should be available via my Tokkaedama webpage, the address for which
is listed at the top of this document. Similarly, for general information
about Tokkaedama, please see my Tokkaedama FAQ, also available via my
Tokkaedama webpage...

How to use this document:

If you're stuck on a Hirameki Mode level in Tokimeki Memorial Taisen
Tokkaedama, find the level in this document (hints file, part 1). For
convenience, you'll find the initial situation and conditions listed.
You'll find there, listed under "Hints", one or more numbers. These
numbers represent hints listed in this file's companion document (hints
file, part 2). btw, these hints have been randomly numbered, so as not to
accidentally reveal hints for adjacent puzzle levels (or adjacent hints
for the same level)...
Anyway, if there's more than one hint listed for a level, they should
be listed in increasing order of revelation (more or less; since people's
thought and analysis processes do differ, there's no way to absolutely
guarantee anything of the sort...), so look at the first hint for a gentle
nudge in the right direction, look at the second for a stronger push, and
so on... I've tried to design the hints (especially the first hints for
each level) so as not to be *too* revealing, but since there's no way to
standardize something that varies by how one thinks, do be warned that any
specific individual may find some of the hints too revealing... even while
others may find the same hints perhaps not revealing enough.
Oh, some of the hints actually refer back to previous ones (from the
same puzzle), so always look at them in order, instead of skipping
directly to the last hint...
