II.PURPOSE OF THE GUIDE

I'm writing this guide because I feel a need to make this build known for what
it can do. The Frozenwall Sorceress is in my opinion the ONLY Sorceress build
that can defeat Hell mode unaided. Back in 1.10, I made one of these characters
on a whim because I was bored of the same old stuff. I noticed that after I
started using it in public Baal runs people saw what skill I was using, and of
course most people can't leave things alone, so a lot of these started cropping
up. I'm not sure if I started that little outbreak or if I just noticed more
people using them after I had gotten the look of the skill in my mind. Well,
I'm going to write MY version of this build. I'll read none of the trash that
a lot of people sent me over my Poisoner guide with this one. That having been
said, let's move along.

III. WHAT IS A FROZENWALL SORCERESS?

A Frozenwall Sorceress is a hybrid, using the Fire and Cold Skill Trees. It
uses Firewall as it's primary attack, with Frozen Orb to back it up. As I
mentioned earlier, this Sorceress can beat Hell mode without help. For most
Sorceresses, this is impossible. The reason both skills become as powerful as
they do, (and trust me both get plenty strong) is because they have barely any
synergies. This makes it possible to max out both skills plus the skills they
need to gain damage.

IV.SKILLS

Alright now, you're going to need some spells from all three trees for this.
The spells you need to put points into, even as prerequisites will be listed.
The spells you will not put anything into will be omitted from this guide. This
tree is based on a character that has attained Level 99 and completed all of
the skill quests in every difficulty. Trust me on the skills. Your character
may not use them, but mine does, and as I said, I can beat Hell mode alone with
it.

A. Cold Spells

Cold spells will have more points added than the other two trees simply because
Frozen Orb HAS a synergy, whereas your main attack has none. Plus there is a
supportive spell you will need. For this tree, I suggest that you don't put
any points into it until you max out what needs it in the Fire Tree.

Ice Bolt is a spell that send an icicle at an enemy, chilling it. It is
pretty weak, but being a synergy to Frozen Orb, you will need it maxed.

Required Level: 1
Frozen Armor increases your defense and chills enemies that attack you while it
is in effect. The chilling only works on an enemy that attacks physically. This
spell is not that good, and thankfully it's only needed as a prerequisite.

Required Level: 6
Ice Blast is a spell that sends an exploding chunk of ice at the enemy. It is a
strong spell, but we're not after this one. You only need one point into this
as a prerequisite to Frozen Orb.

Required Level: 6
Frost Nova creates an expanding ring of ice around you, damaging and chilling
those it touches. It's weak, costs a lot of mana, but it's only a prerequisite.

| Shiver Armor |

Required Level: 12
Shiver Armor is a good skill that boosts defense and chills like Frozen Armor,
but it also damages the enemy and has a much better defense increase. This is a
skill to use. But only put one point into it. The other points go elsewhere.

This is a spell that sends a large spike of ice at an enemy. Considering the
level requirement on it, it should be strong but Ice Blast far surpasses it.
Good thing it's only needed to advance onto Blizzard and Frozen Orb.

Blizzard... a crazy powerful spell that sends a shower of massive ice chunks to
crush anything underneath it. Ah, if only this spell was useful to this build.
Sadly, this skill gets only one point because we need to save points for Frozen
Orb.

| Frozen Orb |

Required Level: 30
Frozen Orb is a highly powerful spell that creates a sphere of ice and sends
roughly fifty Ice Bolts in all directions. Don't let the screen damage fool
you with this one. That damage is how much each Ice Bolt will do. The amount of
Ice Bolts makes this spell a force to be reckoned with. Max this out, for this
is the spell that will kill most monsters that your Firewall cannot.

Required Level: 30
Cold Mastery, unlike Lightning and Fire Mastery, reduces enemy resistance to
cold instead of adding damage to your Cold spells. This is the skill that you
SHOULD NOT add ANY points into until you have maxed out everything necessary in
the Fire tree, added a point into each of the spells in the Lightning tree as
needed, maxed out Ice Bolt and Frozen Orb, and finally gained Shiver Armor.

B. Lightning Spells

The Lightning Skill tree is hardly used in the construction of a Frozenwall
Sorceress. Just a few prerequisites and two actually used skills.

This spell sends a few sparks of lightning at an enemy. Potentially powerful,
but lightning skills have littel use in this build. Just add one here as a
prerequisite.

| Telekinesis |

Required Level: 6
Telekinesis is the ability to interact with your surroundings mentally. Using
it, a Sorceress can pick up distant objects such as gold or potions, or use it
to knock an enemy back. It's useless, but we need it to progress.

Required Level: 12
This spell makes a stream of lightning fly into the distance, going through
targets to possibly hit another one. This is attack is deadly when used in a
Lightning Sorceress build. But for this one, just one point to get to where we
need to go.

Required Level: 18
Chain Lightning does almost exactly the same as Lightning. Except this spell
changes direction after it hits it's target to go hit another. If another enemy
is not near enough the spell is over. One point so we can keep moving.

Required Level: 18
This skill allows freedom of motion; instantly moving you to the place of your
choosing. With it we can even move through walls. This spell makes it much
easier to get around and is faster than walking even with a low FCR. For those
who are unfamiliar with the game still, FCR stands for Faster Cast Rate. We use
this skill constantly, but it only need a single point.

| Mana Shield |

Required Level: 24
This skill is like eating nothing but fast food. It does some good once in a
while, but mostly it's gonna cause health problems. Literally. This spell when
active, takes a large percentage of damage off of what should be done to your
life. It takes mana away in place of life. This is, in my experience, usually
not good. This is like adding a Mana Burn enhancement to EVERYTHING that hits
you. There are some occasions where it is useful. I dont care enough for this
spell to go into much detail, but sometimes it helps. Give it one point. You
may need it someday.

C.Fire Spells

This is where your main focus on damage comes from. I expect I will hear a lot
of complaints as to one of the skills added in here, but as I said, trust me.
This build works very well.

Warmth is a passive skill that regnerates mana at all times. If you have every
last bit of the items I list below, mana will regenerate at 352%. Thats like a
passive Meditation Aura. This also means that you dont have to waste your
Mercenary's Weapon on something as weak as Insight to keep your mana up. One
point will suffice here.

This shoots a jet of fire. The longer you hold this, the longer the spell goes
on. Useless to the build, but needed to move on.

Blaze makes fire sprout up out of the ground behind you as you walk. This spell
is dull. One point, then forget it exists.

Required Level: 18
This spell is your primary attack. It makes a wall of flames appear wherever
you cast it. This spell has an insane amount of damage to it. At it's best with
all the stuff I have listed below, it does 21,000 damage per second and the wall
lasts 3.6 seconds. That is a LOT of damage over so little time. Max this out.

Fire Mastery is a passive skill that increases the damage done by all of your
Fire spells. Very useful indeed. Max it.

V. ATTRIBUTES

A character's attributes are just as important as it's skills. It is important
not to do things so that you can't wear your equipment or survive a Boss fight.
So I will put in where attributes should go and a general figure of how many
points each needs.

| Strength |

Strength is not to be used much. You only need enough to wear all of your
equipment. Try to add it in so that when you have the right level for your items
you can wear them right away. That way the strength some of your gear adds will
reduce the amount you need to put into the base strength. Your maximum strength
should be 156 simply because of the high requirement of her shield.

Dexterity doesn't need any points for this character build. The stat bonuses
from the charms in the inventory should add enough to put your gear on you.

| Vitality |

Vitality is going to take in more much more points than Energy for this build.
This stat is what keeps you alive. My Sorceress topped out at 406 Vitality.
Yours may vary somewhat. I reached that number because of the the 40 extra
points that the Hellfire Torch and Annihilus added.

Energy is important, but not as important as Vitality is for this build. My
Frozenwall Sorceress ended up with 200 total Energy.

VI. EQUIPMENT

This character's equipment can be very expensive. So, for every item, I'll list
a second piece of possible equipment. I'll say this again. I use this gear.
If you think you can get better, be my guest. I'm just writing what I think is
best. The item listed as 1 is the recommended choice. 2 is an alternative. I
recommend putting a Perfect Fire Facet into the Helmet, Armor, and Weapon. Yes,
I said the Helmet. It does not matter if the Facet is a Die or a Level-Up. I
don't know about the rest of you, but I never plan on dying much when I make a
character. It's stupid to trade extra for something lame like that.

VII. INVENTORY

The inventory is another important part of a strong character. This is where all
of you charms go.

I recommend getting 9 Burning Grand Charms with either a Life or Faster Hit
Recovery mod on them. After that, put an Annihilus Small Charm and a Sorceress'
Hellfire Torch Large Charm in. For the additional spaces left, get either
Shimmering Small Charms of Vita or Shimmering Small Charms of Balance. That's
All Resists and life or Faster Hit Recovery.

VIII. MERCENARY

The Mercenary is a huge help to the Frozenwall Sorceress. There are many types
of mercenaries, but I suggest getting the Act 2 Offensive Mercenary from
Nightmare difficulty. Most people choose the Defensive one, but since you use
Frozen Orb to back up Firewall, you don't need the Holy Freeze Aura. The Might
Aura from the Offensive Mercenary will help his damage. This mercenary will be
what takes out the rare enemy that is immune to both Cold and Fire damage.
For example, The Countess is immune to both, and Lord De Seis in the Chaos
Sanctuary is also. Now, I'll put in the equipment that this Mercenary should be
wearing. A note on the helmet listed. The Jeweler's Bone Visage of Stability
is a Magical class helmet that has 3 sockets and 24% Faster Hit Recovery. The
Sockets should be filled with Ruby Jewels of Fervor or Ruby Jewels of Carnage.
The Ruby adds 40% Enhanced Damage, Fervor is 15% Increased Attack Speed, and
Carnage is +15 Max Damage.
