=============================================================================
II) About Me And Why I wrote this FAQ
=============================================================================

My Name is Elwell aka [OveR-LorD], i am a huge FPS (First Person Shooter)
fan. This Is my first solo public FAQ and i hope it fits into what everyone
wants. I know there is the single player side to this game but people already
have walkthroughs and official guides and so on, so here is my Multiplayer
Engineer FAQ.
For those of you who play RTCW (Return To Castle Wolfenstein) online you may
recognise me as the player "OveR-LorD".
I have made this FAQ for the following reasons
* No one else has.
* I wish i had one when i started
* I got bored at home so what better way to spend my day exept playing
this game.

I am currently writing about 7 other FAQs which i am hoping to post on
www.gameFAQs.com and www.Neoseeker.com very soon, these FAQs include
"Aliens Versus Predator" and "Gunman Chronicles" and many more. I do most
of my FAQs with the help of other people because it makes life so much easier
so if you want to help me or offer advice to me on an FAQ please send me
your ideas and i will try and get back to you and of course credit will be
given where credit is due.

=============================================================================
III) Overview To "Return To Castle Wolfenstein"
=============================================================================

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is the sequal to the big hit classic
"Wolfenstein" which most people will know as the first ever first person
shooter, and so you should the game was (To Put It simply) Brilliant.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein however has been made much later on and i will
list the changes because of that.
* Much Much better graphics
* Much Better Sounds and Sound quality
* Much better level design, for example Stairs!
* Video Scenes to set the story
* A proper story line
* A brilliant atmosphere on the levels
This all together make Return To Castle Wolfenstein a world beater.
The Game is set in the War and you have been captured by the Nazis and
have to escape (I know there is more but i dont want to spoil anything for
anyone).

=============================================================================
IV) Overview To Multiplayer "Castle Wolfenstein"
=============================================================================

The Multiplayer section to "Return To Castle Wolfenstein" is very good
it is split into teams of Allies and Axis (Nazis) and one team must defend
and one team must attack and clear objectives to win. Imagine if you will a
cross between Unreal Tournaments Assault mode, Team Fortress Classic and
Counterstrike and you will get the idea. Anyway there are four classes to
each side, these classes being Soldiers, Medics, Engineers, and Lieutenants
and each character plays a key role to the game as each ones skills are used
in a game.
You can however play a game with just Engineers and win but the others are
so much fun to be aswell it makes the game much more fun.

=============================================================================
V) About the Engineer
=============================================================================

"Defuse the Dynamite" is a phrase you may hear a lot in a game, the
Engineers skill is that he can Lay and Arm, and also Defuse Dynamite.
Dynamite is needed to blow up key things in multiplayer games (eg Doors).
This makes the Engineer a key character he is recognisable by the big "E" in
a circle on his helmet. The Engineer carries six items, these are a Knife, A
Lugar or Colt (handgun), a Thompson (Sub-Machine Gun), Pineapple or Potatoe
Masher (Grenades), a Pair Of Pliers (For Arming And Disarming Dynamite), and
packs of Dynamite.

=============================================================================
VIII) Tactics
=============================================================================

Engineers are average in battle so the best tactic is follow soldiers and
get a soldier to cover you when laying Dynamite and arming it. Also Try to
avoid too much confrontation with the enemy as you only have limited
ammunition.
