IIII. SWORDSMAN
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Swordsman base mainly on his/her HP(Health Points) and the
ATK(Attack), mainly increases in his STR(Strength) and VIT(Vitality).

They train with a team, mainly consist of another Swordsman, and one
or two Acolyte to provide healing.

To get started, make sure your character have a Job Level 10. Then
you can change into a Swordsman. When you first create your character,
move all your Luck and Intelligence to Strength and Agility. While
leaving the other two stats, Dexterity and Vitality untouch.

Once you get to the world of Ragnarok. Start by leveling up your
character ensuring that your Job Level will be 10. Once you
manage to get 10 Job Level. Go to Izlude, to locate yourself,
type /where, to find out where you are, once you see that you
are located at Prontera Field, walk around and ask for direction
from friendly people to where Izlude is located.

Once you reach Izlude, remember to thank your saviour. Head to the
town of Izlude, once you get there and walk pass two bridge.
Walk to North-West, the Swordsman Guild will be located there,
if you enter the wrong shop and enter an Armoury instead,
the Swordsman Guild is just West of it. Don't worry, no quest is
required in order to become a Swordsman.

I'd also recommend you to buy goods and equipment from merchants,
as they tend to sell cheaper than NPC. A few items are the Tsurugi,
Glove, Rosary, and the rare Two Handed Sword which was removed
from the NPCs' shop and not to forget the Gemmed Sallet. Now that
Ragnarok has been updated. You can actually change your job to
a Knight.

Steps to be a Swordsman:

1. Make sure your Novice's job level is 10 and have all Novice's
skills learnt.

2. Go to Izlude, if you need help getting there, do ask for
directions.

3. Once you reach Izlude, pass the two bridge, depending on how you
rotate your map, you can still ask for directions.

4. Please note that most of the Swordsman's equipments are sold in
Prontera and Izlude.

Notes: After you change your class, your maximum level is 99 and your
maximum Job Level is 50.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
V. THE VARIOUS SWORDSMAN (Part 1)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This section, you'll learn about 3 different types of Swordsman.
The CRUSADER, KNIGHT and the LANCER.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
CRUSADER: 1 Handed Swordsman
You are a person who does not really wish to attack. But to aid and
you fight only to defend yourself. Not to hurt and deal a large amount
of damage.

Tips: Max Out Endure, 1 Handed Sword Mastery and HP Recovery.

Why?
Endure will give you time to do recover from being attacked. So you'd
need it if you want to do something else besides attacking.

1 Handed Sword Mastery cause the Alternate Class have a few skill
to do with Shield. And you'd need it since you're using 1 Handed.

HP Recovery is to save time from asking an Aco or a Priest/ess to heal
you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
KNIGHT: 2 Handed Swordsman
You are a person who likes to beat and bash people up badly. You
ALWAYS attack headon. Regardless of whatever HP is left of you.
Though you heal, but you rely mostly on an Aco or a Priest/ess to heal
you.

Tips: Max Out 2 Handed Sword Mastery, Bash, Provoke and HP Recovery.

Why?
2 Handed Sword Mastery is to help you deal a large amount of damage
with a 2 Handed Sword.

Bash deal a maximum of 400% of the damage which you'll need.

Provoke decrease the other party's defense but icreases their attack
power. And since you'd be attacking head on most of the time. You'll
need this skill.

HP Recovery, again with the same reason. You'll heal yourself without
the help of an Aco or a Priest/ess.

Note: You'll need at least a level 3 Magnum Break to get a skill call
Bowling Bash for the Knight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LANCER: Spears and Lances Swordsman
You are a person who enjoy using spear, pike or lance. You like to
be a bit different from others. And your favourite character is CID
from FF7. You do not like to use shield either, but likes to attack
in a unique fashion...with LANCE/SPEAR.

Tips: Max out 2 Handed Sword Mastery, Bash, Provoke and HP Recovery.

Why?
The same reason as the one stated above.

Note: You'll need a level 3 Magnum Break for Bowling Bash. I heard
they work well with Lancers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
V. THE VARIOUS SWORDSMAN (Part 2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This section, I will tell you about the various Swordsman that exist
in the world of Ragnarok Online. And besides that. I'd also put in
advice on what you should use and what your stat points would be like.

AGI Swordie - Agility Swordsman a.k.a Lightning

AGI MUST be 99

Comments: Personally, my favourite type of Swordsman. But the only
thing about it is the lack of STR and VIT. But you can
keep on dodging and attacking. But once you get smacked,
you'll lose alot, and yes, ALOT of HP.

Gnoserif's Opinion: I use an AGI Swordie. Since the speed that the
Swordie swing his sword is wayyy...cool!

Recommended: All three types of Swordsman
----------------------------------------------------------------------
VIT Swordie - Vitality Swordsman a.k.a Walking Tank

VIT MUST be 99

Comments: I didn't really try this Swordsman out, but most of the
time while you're playing as a VIT Swordsman. You can tank
for people and your HP Recovery is extremely fast. What
you lack is probably the STR and DEX. So you should increase
them to suit you.

Recommended: Crusader or Knight
----------------------------------------------------------------------
STR Swordie - Strength Swordsman a.k.a Walking Bomb

STR MUST be 99
or
STR & DEX MUST be AT LEAST 50 each

Comments: If you are to use this Swordsman. Make sure that you buy
lots of pots cause you're gonna neeed loads of 'em. You'll
take extreme damage and you'll also deal extreme damage.

Recommended: Knight or Lancer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
