World Stadium EX is perhaps one of the best/funnest baseball games
ever. Well,
at least since SNK Baseball Stars. Here is the best I can figure for
some of the game's
more confusing and neccisary menu's. My Japanese is limited so if you
have more info,
email me please! (what does that mini game unlock for Pete's sake?!)

I. Options Menu

1. 1st Player auto settings [fielding and base running * fielding *
off]
2. 2nd Player auto settings [see above]
3. inning per game [9 * 7 * 5 * 3 * 1]
4. errors [on * off]
5. COM difficulty level [easy * normal * hard]
6. wind [on * off]
7. called game [10 runs * off]
8. game sound [stereo * mono]
9. sounds(?) [? * comical * ?] help on this one!
10. replays [on * off]
11. controller setup

II. Pitching Commands

up = fast/straight
up-left = ?

down-left = sinker
down = fork

III. Create Your Own Player Menu (advancing a new player)

1. Registration/Entry
2. Load
3. Save
4. Erase/Delete

IV. Creating a Player Walk-Through

1. Choose a team to play for
2. Name the player (use R1 to navigate to other usable characters,
including English)
3. Choose a position
A. ?
B. ?
C. First Base
D. Second Base
E. Third Base
F. ?
G. ?
4. Choose your player's number
5. Throwing hand (right * left)
6. Batting side (right * switch * left)
7. Mystery To Me (smart * ?)
8. Choose player's face

V. Helps on Batting/Fielding/Pitching/Running

1. Let the COM field for you! (see options menu)[note:you'll still have
to throw]
2. At batting screen
A. push down for power, up for normal
B. triangle is bunt
C. L2 aims hit left, R2 aims hit right
3. At pitching screen
A. push triangle to set field up for a bunt (again to disregard)
B. push circle once to set up for a light hitter
C. push circle again to send field deep
D. push circle a third time to cancel command
4. Base running
A. push toward base (i.e. up = 2nd, left = 3rd etc.) and square to
send
B. push toward base and "X" to call back
C. when play is in motion, R1 and L1 can be used (R1 forward, L1 back)

VI. When you push "start" during play

1. exit (to game)
2. change pitcher
3. change fielder
4. quit game (must hold R1 R2 L1 L2 SELECT and START)

1. exit (to game)
2. pinch hitter
3. pinch runner
