Resident Evil:Survivor 2 General

Like Resident Evil Gaiden there might many people out there who don't know what Resident Evil Survivor 2 is about..
It's an Ego Shooter game based on the Resident Evil:Code Veronica X game for Playstation2 and Dreamcast.It's also a
sequel to the first Resident Evil Survivor on the Playstation.

Well the game isnt out in Europe yet so I'm waiting and preparing the sections.I'm also taking a look
at the japanese Version to get at least a few information.
Ver.0,2 10.02.2002
well,finally the European Version is out here and I can start writing it.Finished the Arcade Mode.
But there's also the Dungeon Mode and so on....
I also finished the character section and started the Enemies Section.The Wakthrough and Maps are also under
construction.

To make a good solution for the Dungeon Mode is really hard you know...anyway i just made a map for the Clock Tower
Level.The Underground Level isn't that big so...anyway the maps for the Arcade Mode are finished.
Ver.1,2 12.02.2002
Last Update for today.After making a lot of the map of the Underground level.I have finished the map for the Clock
Tower,the first Dungeon Mode level.Hope you'll need it because the Dungeon Mode without a map can really become a
pain.Have fun!!

Corrected some mistakes and finished the the vs.roach mode including the maps.I finally made a map for the underground
level but there are some rooms missing so the map may be in the next update.I also made a review of the game.

Here it is now..the map for the Underground Level.it was really hard work(i had to play it 5-6 times because of the low
timer).Next will be the Inferno level.
Ver.1,5 15.02.2002
Again it's time for an update...wooow...the Inferno Level is here and its fine and dandy because there might be some
mistakes in the Underground map.But you'll make the level if you use the right side of the map.Anyway i made the map
for the Inferno Level but haven't beaten the Boss yet.I'll soon give it another try as it might unlock one of the 2
secret charcters Chris or Rodrigo.

Wow....had not much time to make an uodates so this one might seem a bit late...well i played a bit the dungeon mode and
found out how to unlock Chris Redfield.I also have (nearly) all the missions for the Dungeon Mode levels.This FAQ should be
complete in the next updates.

I.Story of Resident Evil Survivor 2:Code Veronica
-------------------------------------------------

As the subtitle tells us it's based on the Story of Code Veronica but you'll notice that there are many differences
between the two games because CLaire escapes with Steve and that's not the end of the normal game.Anyway this game
is good enough to entertain you for a while.

II. The Characters in Resident Evil Survivor 2
----------------------------------------------

Steve Burnside
--------------
The male main cast wants to get off the island.He's young and was a prisoner on this island.His basic weapon are
the Golden Lugers.

Claire Redfield
---------------
Claire was in her cell when a explosion occured.She got off her cell and went outside.When she noticed that there
were zombies she took her Handgun(her basic weapon)and started to shoot.She met Steve and this is where it begins.
(I know it's different to the CVX storyline)

Chris Redfield
--------------
As the name says it it's Claire's brother who used to be a STARS member.In the CVX storyline he comes to rescue her
but in this game he has just an appearance in the Dungeon Mode as a secret character.

Rodrigo Juan Raval
------------------
Back from the dead!No no zombies!Actually Capcom wanted him to include in an extra CVX minigame but they scrapped this
(just like many other nice things..RE1,5...).In the CVX storyline he was the one that let here out of her cell and who
died later in the game.This time he's just like Chris a secret character in teh Dungeon Mode.


Enemies
-------
-------
In this Resident Evil game you will face many known creatures from other Resident Evil
games.Who cares?Simply shoot them;)


Zombies
-------
These are humans infected by the T-Virus.They are not that strong...just shoot them with your
basic weapons and they'll fall soon.

Dogs
----
Another one...these logically mutated dogs.They're pretty agressive and can harm you when they're
right behind you so watch out and just shoot them when they come.

Lickers
-------
These monsters are known from Resident Evil 2.They're quick and can attack you with their long
tongue and also can jump and you and you'll have a biiiig scratch on your face.Try either to
shoot them in a distance or make a critical hit.

Drain Deimos
------------
Another monster known from other RE's.This time it's from Resident Evil 3:Nemesis.These guys
only appear about 3 times.They're a bit harder to beat in my opinion than the Lickers.Try the
same strategy as for the Lickers.

Hunters
-------
Wow!!These guys used to rock in previous Re games like Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3:Nemesis.
But again here they're juyt food for your gun.Shoot them or try to make a critical hit.

Sweepers
--------
Same as hunters.They used to be poisonous but...this is the first Resident Evil game where you can't
get poisened so they're pretty the same as the hunters.

Bandersnatchers
---------------
Same as in Code Veronica.They can hit you with their long left arms.

Roaches
-------
In VS. Roach Mode you'll have to battle these...but just shoot them with any kind of weapon.

Moths
-----
These also appear on Vs. Roach Mode.Not many of them exist.Just like the roaches shoot them into
pieces.

Bats
----
Well they're like the crows in the other games.Shoot them with everything they fall with one shot.

Spiders
-------
These creatures are a bit dangereous.Because they are pretty strong and can take much damage.They also
can spit poison on you.AHHH!!Shoot them.Shotgun is the best choice.


Boss Enemies
------------
------------
You meet these enemies always at the end of a level.Some of them are very strong and you will have to
dodge them sometimes instead of firing.You also can let your partner handle it....

Giant Spider
------------
Like the small spider it can spit poison on you so move some steps back.Use your shotgun while walking
around it.Shoot it again and again.This should it be.

Big Hunter
----------
Not a big difference to the normal hunters and sweepers.Just shoot hime with weapons like Machine
Guns and he'll drop dead after a short time.

Alexander
---------
This is a bit difficult.Shoot while he's just walking and then when he spits poison step backwards
and try to avoid the poison with side steps.

Alexia
------
A bit like the Spider...Just shoot her while running around her with side steps and when there's her
blood on the ground make side steps not to get hurt.This should work.

Tyrant
------
He's really a pain...This might not a big help because it's very difficult to avoid his attacks..so
shoot and run,make sidesteps and shoot again.You'll make it.Good luck!!

Nemesis Type T
--------------
Yeah our good old Nemesis from RE3.When you meet him in Arcade Mode you wont be able to beat him.One punch
from him and you're dead.Why the T?Because he's special...he only appears when time runs out..kind of
emergency.Well when you fight like him as a boss you'll be able to beat him.Use the Linear Launcher and
shoot him.He'll try to shoot you with his Rocket Launcher...don't mind..just move and shoot.

Giant Worm
----------
This is also a bit tricky...either try to protect yourself in a corner or always take a look at your "Enemy Compass".
It'll always will show you where the worm is.Move that the worm appears right in front of you so you can shoot it.
It's only a bit difficult but note that it is only the Mid-Boss....



III.The Weapons and Items in Resident Evil Survivor 2

Weapons

Using weapons in this game makes much fun because you can shoot and shoot.And you don't have to worry
about how to find them...just play the Arcade Mode and Dungeon with all the characters and you should
find them all...

Knife
-----
You actually can't find this weapon in the game.Only Rodrigo has it when you succeed in obtaining him
in Dungeon Mode.It's even more strabge to use than in Code veronica!Every attack is followed by a strange
soudn.The weapons impact is similar to the ordinary weapons.But anyway this weapon is quite good to use especially
against zombies.

Handgun
-------
Claires basic weapon rocks.At least against Zombies and that kind of Enemies.
used by:Claire Redfield

Golden Lugers
-------------
Like Claire this is Steves basic weapon.It has the same features but it is a bit slower
but shoots two bullets.
Used by:Steve Burnside

Shotgun
-------
This weapon is good but only for short distances.Otherwise you have to shoot your enemy till tommorow;)
Well use it against The Giant Spider and Lickers.
Used by:Steve Burnside,Claire Redfield

Assault Rifle
-------------
The classic AK-74.Pretty nice weapon.Shoot as long as you want at enemies like the Tyrant and Alexia.
Ah...you can shoot everythin with it...
Used by:Claire Redfield

Magnum
------
Another good weapon...but I wouldn't recommend it for bosses because many of them move very quickly.
Use it on normal enemies to make a good combo.
Used by:Claire Redfield

Bow Gun
-------
This weapon might be not always your choice.It shoots quick and is very useful agains the dogs..but for
other purposes...oh well..there are enough weapons in this game.
Used by:Claire Redfield

Panzerfaust EX.
---------------
WOW!!This weapon is completely new to the Resident Evil world.It rocks..and it fires torpedos at the enemies
so it searches it's tareget by itself.You'll see little things flying around when you shoot with it.Use it
against bosses.
Used by:Steve Burnside,Claire Redfield

Linear Launcher
---------------
Definetely the best weapon in the game.It kills nearly everything with one shot.It also is the only waepon that
can do Nemesis T really a damage.So take it and shoot with it.
Used by:Steve Burnside,Claire Redfield,Chris Redfield

Rocket Launcher
---------------
Nearly the same as the Panzerfaust EX.It fires rockets instead of torpedos but also makes a great damge.You wont
find much ammo for it so use it on bigger enemies.
Used by:Steve Burnside,Claire Redfield

Sub Machine Guns
----------------
Solid weapon.Use it against smaller enemies because you only can do harm to few boss enemies with it.
It's like handgun which fires very quickly.I would prefer the handgun in many cases.
Used by:Steve Burnside

Grenade Launcher
----------------
Very nice weapon.You can use it for everything.Against bosses or ordinary enemies.It always will do
a pretty good job.
Used by:Steve Burnside

Items
-----
-----
Both the Arcade and Dungeon Mode include many things that aren't weapons.You can find them all here.

Green Herb:
Use it to heal yourself a bit.

Fisrt Aid Box:
Something like the First Aid Spray in the other games.It heals about 70% of your life bar.

Side pack:
Found only the Dungeon Mode you can carry up to 6 different weapons with it.

Silver Coin:
You get points for it in the Dungeon Mode.

Golden Coin:
Again for the Dungeon mode.You get even more points.Use botch coins to also get a good combo in the levels
which will be your objective in this case.

could've been.Who droped the ball this
time?Ah well,what's done is done.IN 48
hours the virus will contaminate this
entire island and every life form will die
out.Soon I will be nothing more than
completely by the virus.

She is my last hope.My invincible lover,
Neticia.I first met you in an empty
solitary cell.You had innocently chosen
that spot to make your web,a place to
call home,though there was no food for
you to catch.I wonder why I fell for
you...Perhaps it was because I sensed
we were kindred spirits,choosing to live
our lives in some sheltered corner
secluded from others...I diligently kept
feeding you with moths and roaches.
Watching you wrap their bodies and suck
out their fluids relaxed me.I noticed
how you had grown,but I wanted you to
be bigger and stronger.That's why
I started to steal bodies for you.There
was no harm in it,after all they were
the dead remnanats from various
experiments,no longer useful and left to
be disposed of secretly.So I did just

tortured to death by Alfred anyway.

22 40: Same Day-2nd Encounter
Our second encounter erupted
into a close range combat
with a unit of our agents and
2 units of Hunters. They ended
up to be wiped out wthin
three minutes.

In my opinion the pontential
of the T-Veronica carrier is
beyond comprehension. It has
the ability to transform in
order to accommodate a hostile
element.
For defensive purposes
it transforms its skin into
armor to protect its body
against bullets. It is assumed
that the T-Veronica carrier
can evolve to accommodate any
environmental change.
The blood of the T-Veronica
carrier seems to catch fire
once it is aerated.
When it attacks by spraying
its blood it's more powerful
than a flamethrower. Survival
rate against this type of
weapon is very low since the
T-Veronica carrier pursues
its victims with the
intelligence of a human.

SUMMARY: Survival rate
against an enemy of this
potential is extremely low."


Secret Report 5:"Monologue of Claire"

"I seem to have fallen asleep
in spite of myself.
The sound of the turbo engine
of the V-Tol has woken me up.
I was dreaming.No I was having
a terrible nighmare.
I'm drenched in sweat,and my
heart is thumping in my throat.

The dream is fading away rapidly,
just like a dream always does.
Then only the memory of fear and
deep sorrow remain.
To my surprise,
I seem to have been crying.
In the cockpit,
Steve is controlling the plane,
The nightmare has gone far behind.
What do I have to fear?
Why should I be sad?
We're safe,for we got away
from the cause of so much
fear and sorrow.The island...

I can see the warms unlight
coming into the cockpit,
as it erases the darkness.
There are dolphins jumping
on the surface of the sea below,
However ,the fragments
of the noghtmare never

The scenes I dreamed
of are surfacing one by one.

I was fighting just like
I did a while ago,just like
I did together with Steve.
But the dream was about
to unfold in a different way
in the worst way.

IV. Walkthrough of Resident Evil Survivor 2
-------------------------------------------

Ok here is the walkthrough but before we start here are some general tips how you should
begave when using a weapon:

1.IF NEMESIS CHASES YOU IN THE ARCADE MODE DON'T SHOOT EVERYTHIG YOU MEET.MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ROOM
AND TRY TO AVOID HIM BECAUSE HE CAN KILL YOU INSTANTLY.
2.TRY MAKING CRITICAL HITS.HOW?YOU HAVE TO BE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR ENEMY.SHOOT WHILE MAKING STEPS
BACKWARDS.IF YOU SUCCEED THE WORD "CRITICAL HIT" WILL APPEAR ON YOUR SCREEN.
3.WATCH OUT FOR EXPLOSIVES EITHER AS BARRELS OR ON ENEMIES THEY CAN MAKE YOUR SITUATION A LOT BETTER
AND REMEMBER THAT THEY DON'T HARM YOU WHEN THEY EXPLODE.
4.DON'T PANIC WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY ENEMIES.THERE IS ALWAYS A SOLUTION.

Walkthrough

-----------
Ok that's it now.Now turn on your Playstation2 Console and Press Start...or pull the trigger if
you are using a lightgun.But i would recommend the Dual Shock 2 Controller.It's better...
Well after that a screen should appear.You can choose between the Arcade and Dungeon Mode.VS. Roach
Mode should be there too after playing the Dungeon Mode(see cheats section).I'll start with the
Arcade Mode.The others should follow...

ARCADE MODE
-----------
Choose ARCADE MODE in the title scren.Now you'll be able to choose your character.Finished?
Ok then lets go party then....

Level 1:PRISON-ESCAPE
---------------------
As you start(FIRE) kill all the enemies with your basic weapon.Go to the next room.But before
you enter take the Sub Machine Guns/Assault Rifle.In the next room first turn right and go ahead
to get your first message:"FIVE".Now turn back and go all the way back to the door and in the
direction of the brown boxes.A zombie will appear.Kill him(Critical Hit?).Turn right and go into
the next door.You can also take the First Aid Box in the corner.Entering the room you'll see the
key you need.Kill all the enemies and take it.Don't go back out and enter the next room,this room
also holds a Grenade Launcher/Magnum when you go up the stairs.In the next room go ahead and a
zombie will burst out of the crates.Kill him and move on.Two more zombies will come.Kill them too and
take the Red Jewel.Now go back out and and go the way back to the first door you entered.Next to it
there will be another door.Open the door with your key.BOSS Fight:Giant Spider.Level Finished.
There should be enough time to finsh this level before Nemesis chases you and you can finish this level
by not being hurt or using other weapons.Think about it.



Level 2:OFFICIAL RESIDENCE-ABERRANCE
------------------------------------
Shoot the zombies that aproach you and move into the next room.Shoot all the crates that are lying there
three dogs should appear.Shoot also the crate in front of the computer to get the Blue Jewel.There are
two doors now.I would recommend the door in the corner.Go through and then go ahead in that corridor
until you reach the door.Turn to right to see another door,go to that door and enter it.You'll be in the
library.Kill all the zombies and the bandersnathcer and get another message from the typewriter:"JEWEL".
Go back out and go ahead into the next door you see at the corner.The next room should have the key.Kill
all the zombies in there(there are many)and go into the next room.Turn left and enter the next room.Kill
one of the two bandersnatchers and take thy key.Now go back out turn left at the corridor and enter the
double doors on the right side.BOSS Fight:Big Hunter.Level Finished.



Level 3:TRAINING CAMP-CONCERN

This is the only level where you have to find two keys first befor you can face the boss.Anyway kill the
two zombies in front of you when you start.When you proceed there also should be a bandersnatcher.Blast
him out of your way.Enter the door.Kill the dogs,the bandersnatcher and the hunter and enter the next room
through that double doors.Try to dodge the licker that will try to kill you and then shoot him.Go ahead and
turn right into the corridor there are zombies lying.But be careful when you aproach them...they'll get up
and spit poison on you.Enter the door on the end of the corridor.Now you see two spiders.Blast them away.
You have two choices now...but anyway you have to find the keys so enter the door and don't go up the stairs.
In that small room you'll see three zombies.Don't panic shoot the one in front of you.He should explode.Enter
the next door.This room has zombies in it kill them and there are also some crates that contain a First Aid Box.
In the next room you'll see a jeep and bandersnatcher in front of you.Kill the bandersnatcher and enter the next room.
The room also has a Grenade Launcher/Magnum for you.In the next room there should be a hunter a sweeper and a
bandersnatcher.Kill the bandersnacher with the barrel to get the key.You must kill it.Go back where the Spiders and
the stairs are.On your way back some zombies will attack.Go up the stairs and turn right.Enter the door.A Drain
Deimos will appear kill it either with a(lucky)critical hit or simply from a distance.There two doors.Enter the one
on the right.Kill the zombies and the typewriter has a message for you:"25MIN".Go back out and enter the other door.
Kill the two zombies and take the key.Go back two the room with the spiders(which appear every time you reenter that
room).Enter the door near the stairs.You'll be in the computer room.There should be a crate in one of the corners.
Shoot it to get the Green Jewel.Take the elevator down.There will be many weapons.I would recommend the shotgun
as it is useful for the bossfight.Be careful when you go to the last door.There's a bandersnatcher.Enter the
last room.BOSS Fight:Alexander.Be careful there are also two abndersnatchers.You should kill them as they can be
a really big pain!!Level finished.



Level 4:OFFICIAL RESIDENCE-IMPATIENCE
-------------------------------------
In the intro you'll see that Claire and Steve are chased by Nemesis so hurry.When you start the level go straight forward
and up the ladder.The next corridor will be full of crates shoot them to get a First Aid Box and a dog(!).Enter the next room.
It's the bridge.Move quick two hunters will jump in.Try to make a critical hit as you don't have much time.The next room has
a zombie and a bandersnatcher.You can ignore the zombie and fight the bandersnatcher.Go the stairs up.You'll be near the
mansion entrance.Kill the hunters and bandersnatchers and enter the next room...it's not easy.In the next room go the stairs
up and kill all the bandersnatchers in your way.Keep going up stairs until a door.The next room has a licker that attakcs you.
Turn right go quick into the next room don't forget Nemsis is chasing you.The next has about 4 zombies.Kill them and move to the
next room.Nemesis isn't chasing you anymore.But you meet Alexia and get attacked by a Giant Spider.Fight:Giant Spider.Kill it
with your shotgun or whatever you have.After finishing the spider enter the next room.Go forward NOT into the door.Go behind
the crates and kill the zombies there.You'll find the Pink Jewel.Go back and enter the mentioned door.You'll be in a corridor.
Go the intersection.Be careful there are 4 Lickers.At the intersection turn left and enter that door.Two bandersnatcher will be
waiting inside.Kill them and take the message at the typewriter:"NEMESIS".Go back out and forward into the next door.Two
Drain Deimos will be waiting.Kill them and enter the door in front of you.You'll see the key.Quickly take it and go out because
two hunters will appear.Now go back to the room where you fought the Giant Spider.BOSS Fight:Alexia.While fighting her be careful
there are also some dogs attacking you.Level finished.



Levelel 5:AIRPORT-DUEL
----------------------
This is the last level.There are not many things to do here.Turn right and go ahead till the crate.Shoot it to get the
Grey Jewel.When you aproach the carousel you'll get your last message:"KILL".Om that's all here move to the next room.
No enemies here but many weapons.Again take the shotgun and enter the next room.Your final battle begins.BOSS Fight:Tyrant.
After a big show and beating tyrant you'll get a show;)Finished...or not??

You collected all the Jewels in the levels?Then the shutter in the back should go up and your old friend Nemesis T should
appear.Now you can take your revenge on him.Take the Linear Launcher that appeares and shoot him till he falls.Now you
definetely are finished with this mess!!!!

Congratulations!You made through the Arcade Mode.Now try the Dungeon Mode...


DUNGEON MODE
------------
Ok after beating the quite easy Arcade Mode you should prepare yourself for the Dungeon Mode.It consists of the 3 more or less
new areas:Clock Tower,Underground and Inferno.Highlight "Dungeon Mode" on the title screen and confirm.Now like always choose
your character and proceed.

CLOCK TOWER
-----------
The Clock Tower is a quite easy level.There are almost only zombies crawling somewhere and you get plenty of weapons.But the biggest
problem in thsi level(and this mode)is that you are in rooms which are like a maze...so take a look at the weapons which are a bigger
help than these explanations.Here are the missions:

Mission 1:Eliminate the boss inside the house
---------------------------------------------
The Boss is in fact the Giant Spider with some little ones.You wont have many problems.Just move around the spider with your shotgun
and shoot as long as you can.

Mission 2:Retreive all the Jewels in the house
----------------------------------------------
Now it gets more difficult....but no problem take a look at the map and get them.

1.In the corridor.It will be floating somewhere there.You can't miss it.
2.Room with plates.In one of the corners.
3.Room with boxes and cuborads.In one of the corners.It's hidden in a box.
4.Bedroom.Behind the zombies.You'll see it.

What you get:50% Assault Rifle/Sube Machine Gun Bullets

Mission 3:Defeat the monsters in the house

Use the map and blow them all off!!

Mission 4:Pull off 60+ hit combo

Shoot the enemies,the crates,the lamps...everything you see to get a good combo
and to achieve this target.Collect also the coins that sometimes are released or
found in crates.I would suggest Claire for this type of mission as her Magnum can easily
get you time to shoot more and more enemies.

Mission 5:Escape within six Minutes
-----------------------------------
Don't shoot everything you see.Just run and try to avoid the enemies.Since this level is pretty linear you don't have
to use a specific route.Just follow your way.

What you get:3 Panzerfaust EX.

Mission 6:Score more than 60 million
------------------------------------
That's not a big deal.Just shoot the enemies.Try making good combos and that's it.

What you get:10 Rocket Launcher Shots


UNDERGROUND
-----------
The Underground Level is REALLY weird.I'm serious.I sometimes ended up having lost my way when making the map.
I actually played it 5-6 times to make a map.And that is what you really need here.

Mission 1:Defeat the boss of the underground
--------------------------------------------
You'll face the Giant Worm as a Mid-Boss.But he isn't that difficult to beat.Your real boss enemy is
actually Alexia.When you enter the room you'll notice that there are many big crates in the room.So when
you are in trouble hind behind them.Also be quick and try attacking Alexia from behind.Make critical hits.
And that's it.There's also a Grenade Launcher/Magnum to get in that room when shooting the barrels.

Mission 2:Retreive the Jewels in the underground

Again use the map to find the 4 Jewels that are distributed throughout the level:

1.The room with some bats and a whole in the wall.It's in one of the corners.
2.In the Rest Room.Go down the corridor and you'll find it next to a shotgun and panzerfaust.
3.The room has a corridor you should follow.Shoot the crates to find it.
4.When you enter the room search in one of the corners(has no doors to enter).

What you get:150 Assualt Rifle/Sub Machine Gun Bullets

Mission 3:Defeatthe monsters in the underground

Again you have to search in all rooms to find all enemies.But this one is a lot more tricky than the one in the Clock Tower level.Sometimes
you have to shoot some barrels for enemies to appear so not all enemies are simply hidden or ready for you to shoot.

Mission 4:Pull off 70+ hit combo
----------------------------------
This time you'll need a 70+ one so shoot again everything you'll see.You'll see more crates and less
coins in this level so this is quite tough to beat.Again choose Claire for this mission.
You should be able to perform this in the rooms 39-27 from start till the giant worm.

What you get:20 Magnum Bullets/Grenades

Mission 5:Escape within eight Minutes
-------------------------------------
As in the Clock Tower level just try to avoid many of the enemies and you shouldn't have a problem in reaching Alexia
within 6-7 minutes.

Suggested Map Route:39,40,41,33,34,26,27,28,42,35,29,30,36,30,23,22,19,18,15,12,13,9,8,4,3,2,1

Mission 6:Score more than 70 million

As always shoot the enemies and make combos to beat this level.

INFERNO
-------
The Inferno at last is a really tough one.The first time i played i ended up not to have any time left to complete
the map.Fortunately the map is complete and pretty accurate.The Inferno Level is splitted into 3 Areas.The more you
progress the more difficult the enemies get.In the last area(Area 3) you're going to face zombies with white chemical
who extract a yellow gas when they get defeated.This is not good for you health so be careful!

Mission 1:Defeat the boss in the laboratory
-------------------------------------------
Damn this time the Tyrant will be your enemy.He's really a pain in the @ss!!Not becuase it's(ta least not only that)
but there are up to 2 more tyrants in the boss room!!When you enter the room you'll see 2 tyrants walking towards you.
These two are not a big deal.Just put out you Panzerfaust EX. and shoot one of them.Two shots should be enough.The second
who is also walking is also easy just shoot at him with everything you can and he'll soon fall.Right after beating those
two a third one will jump out of one of the big G-Capsules.Now this is a really hard fight!!Grap the First Aid Kit if you
are injured and shoot at him while making side steps without stopping.It's simple but not easy.Good Luck!!

Boss:3 Tyrants

Mission 2:Retrieve the Jewels in the laboratory

Wow...in this level it's really tough to get the Jewels as there are 5 this time instead of only 4...use the maps
in thge map section to beat this one.

1.Found in a crate.
2.FOund behind a hunter.wait till the shutter opens.(Room 23)
3.Be careful...room is full of zombies.(Room 8)
4.Be careful when entering the room.There are two bandersnatchers.The grey jewel is in the corner.
5.wow...in Room 1 in Area 3...nearly the end of the level...you'll find it in the room with crates in one of them.

What you get:200% Assault Rifle/Sub Machine Gun Bullets

Mission 3:Defeat the monsters in the laboratory

Wow this time you'll have to face incredibly 202 enemies!!You also have
to kill the Big Sweeper which you could avoid before by using another route.

Mission 4:Pull off a 80+ combo
------------------------------
80+ combo this time.For me the most difficult target in this game;)But you'll find plenty of enemies to shoot
at so don't hestitate...but this counter damn quick so try get coins to expand it which are again hard to find.
And as always don't forget to use Claire and her Magnum for this mission.

Mission 5:Escape within ten minutes
-----------------------------------
This target might not be that difficult but it can become like that....first you shouldn't visit all the rooms
to save time but you'll have to to get ammo for your weapons.You'll might have problems with this one.Don't
be angry when it doesn't work with the first try...Simple as that you should be able to complete it.
You should take the west route shown on teh map.

Mission 6:Score more than 90 million
------------------------------------
Again it's just as simple as always(greedy Capcom!).Just behave like in the ones before and you shoudl use again the
west route.I just noticed that the "Score ....." levels are often just like the "Pull off ..." levels...anyway complete
this and prepare for a surprise!

Mission 7:Defeat 300+ monsters in the laboratory
------------------------------------------------
Surprise!Surprise!A 7th mission!ok it was obvious that there would be a 7th mission in one of the levels but anyway.For
the first tiem your objective is to defeat 300+ monsters!Hoooray!And i thought Capcom would make up something more
innovating but well....This can also be considered as one of the most senseless levels in the game.You end up having to
visit the west and east route again and again and all teh otehr rooms till you got over 300 enemies!You should be able
to get about 240 enemies by just wiping out all the enemies in the rooms.For the others youhave to revisit the rooms to
kill one probably two enemies in each room to get the 300+ enemies objective cleared.

Ok this was the Dungeon Mode which should be the most entertaining part in this game.But...why making so many missions
with nearly always the same targets...Capcom!!?!?


VS.ROACH MODE

After obtaining the Vs.Roach Mode by beating the first Dungeon Mode Mission select it and confirm on
the title screen.Again you have to choose your charcter and the games starts.This mode consist of
five lessons:

Lesson 1:Roach Attack
---------------------
Nothing unusual.Just shoot.

Lesson 2:Wipe Out!
------------------
Maybe it sounds liek that but it is again nothing unusual...

Lesson 3:Roach Revenge
----------------------
Except for roaches(which cannot harm you) you'll face moths this time.Just shoot them because they
can hurt you.When thge counter shows a "1" and you can't find any roaches look for moth liying somewhere
and kill them by standing on them.

Lesson 4:Insect World
---------------------
Like Lesson 3.

Lesson 5:Final Showdown
-----------------------
This is the last level level.Just shoot the moths and raoches and be careful not to get hurt by the
strange laser thing at the walls in the room.

Now you made through the VS.Roach Mode.....it wasn't a big deal was it??

Q:Whats the deal with Nemesis.Did he lost his way?
A:No...read the Secret Report files for more information.

Q:The game says i made a critical hit?Whats that and how do I do that?
A:Critical hit appears when you are near your enemy and shoot it when steping backwards.Needs abit
practise but is effective.

Q:Damn.It's Resident Evil.Why is it in the Arcades?
A:Who knows?Maybe because the game translated well for and Arcade Game...or maybe Capcom just wanted
to make Resident Evil popular in the Arcades...many many reasons...the most obvious one is called MONEY!

Q:When will RE:S2 be released in the US?
A:Sadly RE:S2 wont ever get released in the US market or other US territories.Why?No one exactly knows but some say
it has to do with the GunCon feature that also caused problems in part one.

Q:Hey what the hell is this Gun Survivor 3 thing!?Did they turn the zombies to dinosaurs?
A:No calm down.It turns out that the "Survivor" series is more like a general Horror Game series which doesn't only
focus on the Resident Evil series.We should look ahead to Gun Survivor 4 which is again in the Resident Evil world!

the VS. Roach Mode.

Unlock Secret Report

Get all the messages in the levels to get the Secret Report Files.Every message unlocks
one Secret Report.

Unlock VS. Roach Mode
---------------------
Beat the First Dungeon Mode Mission to unlock the VS. Roach Mode.

Get the Panzerfaust EX. in VS. Roach Mode with Infinite Ammo

Beat VS. Roach once to get it.

Increase Partner Level in Arcade Mode

Beat the game once to increase the level till 4.
Beat it twice to increase till level 8.

Unlock Chris Redfield in Dungeon Mode

Beat the sixth Mssion in any level to get Chris Redfield.He'll be

IX.Review about Resident Evil Survivor 2

I think most of us liked CVX or??And also SOME of us liked the first Survivor game for Playstation.It's a first person
shooter based on the Resident Evil Series.Now the second doesnt have it's own story.It's more like the story of CVX but
also another variety...Anyway this game was announced back in 2001 when it was first Called "Biohazard Fire Zone".Then it
was renamed into Resident Evil Gun Survivor 2:Code Veronica.About some months later as everybody rumored the game got a
Playstation2 release date.And as planned was released on November the 8th in 2001.After a few months the game got it's
european release date and here it is now.The US version didn't get a release though....


Gameplay 7/10
It's an FPS game.What do you expect??It's also based on CVX's Battle Mode so...no the gameplay is quite good.As the controls
are also really good maybe except for the sidesteps which could have been better.The controls aren't that disturbing as in
CVX so it really makes fun to shoot the enemies and trying making "Critical Hits".

Story 6/10
This may be the weakest point of the game because it is based on CVX(and the upcoming survivor game on Dino Crisis 2) and
everbody who played it wont care much about the storyline although it's abit different.All in all the game doesn't have really
it's own story....

Sound 9/10
Nothing wrong here.It's the old CVX stuff with some additions.The music is really good and nearly never gets on your nerves.

Graphics 8/10
Another strong point of the game.The graphics are really good quite the same as CVX and also look good.There's is also the
Dungeon Mode which also has three new levels and the Underground level may be the best of them with it's graphics.

Overall:7/10

This game is only an average Resident Evil game but it is a quite new game with great replay value.You can get new weapons
new characters,new missions,new levels and new modes so it's good for a while.

Rent or buy it?
You are a Resident Evil fan?(I mean a true one)You should buy it
You are something else?Then either rent or even ignore it.
