The cockpit door is locked, and I can't open the plane hatch.

Solution:
Try clicking on the laptop computer, and listen to the audio file.

Well I did that and still cant get out.

Maybe you would like a cigar?

Hint:
Perhaps you want to pick up the backpack across the aisle from the
computer.

The egyptian won't let me through the gate to the mine.

If you didn't look through the backpack when you first picked it up,

I can't go down the dark passage.

Hint:
You need to fix the generator.

The elevator is broken at level 4, How do I get to 5 or 6?

Hint:
Find the Maganese Train on level 4.



Problem:
I cant get to level 6, its blocked off.

Hint:
Since when did "Do Not Enter" mean "Do Not Enter?"
....break on through to the other side....



Problem:
I can't get the Augernaut drilling machine working.

Hint:
Push the first, then the second buttons. Push the lever to drive the
machine
through the wall.



Problem:
I keep dying in the earthquake.

Hint:
Ride the Train back to level 1.



Problem:
The handle broke, and I cant shut the masher off.

Hint:
Cut the hydraulic hose with the knife.



Problem:
The entrance caved in, how do I get back into the mine?

Hint:
Go in through the fan shafts.



Problem:
I can't get the fan grates open.

Hint:
Maybe you should grab the wrench out of the red toolbox in the Airplane
hangar.



Problem:
I cant go through the fan, it's still running.

Hint:
You need the keys from the Augernaut drilling machine from level 6.
(They open the switch for the fans at the generator)



Problem:
I went down a fan shaft, but the mine is caved in.

Hint:
Take the fan shaft that is the middle of the three that are
right next to each other.
(Left hand side of the map on page 11 of the book.)



Problem:
I can't get in the new hole from the earthquake.

Hint:
Did you grab the lantern at the bottom of the level 6 fan shaft?

A set of bolt cutters from the garage might help.

I'm in a room with nazi flags, and i found a funny red thing in the
desk drawer, now what?

Hint:
Check behind the flags, maybe there is a hidden switch?

I can't flip the switch, it has no handle.

Hint:
Did you look in the desk drawer?

We never found it. Maybe its in the safe we never found.

Problem:
I can't get to the hanging crate.

Solution:
Put the boxes on the forklift.
(after you raise the forklift, there is an UP option from inside
the forklift.)

I got to the hanging crate, but i can't cut it.

Hint:
Did you grab the knife next to Segal's body in the mine?



Problem:
I cut the crate down, but I can't open it.

Hint:
Maybe the rope tied to the ceiling is more important.

This section is pretty well in walk-through order.




Problem:
I keep getting spears squished into me at the tomb entrance.

Solution:
Grab a rock from the tomb hole/entrance, and throw it down the hallway.



Problem:
What should I do if I don't want to drown.

Solution:
Move one large vase over by the drain plug, tie it using the grappling
hook and rope, and hop into the other one.



Problem:
I keep slipping down the wet stairs.

Solution:
A carpet got flushed out with the water. (Put it back on the stairs.)



Problem:
I can't get down by the four large statue dudes.

Solution:
Look down, then fasten your grappling hook, and climb down.



Problem:
I can't get past the large spikes into the other statue's mouth.

Solution:
1) Touch the spikes, to make them rise.
2) Go to the statue to your right.
3) Try to climb up to his mouth, and he'll lose his head.
4) Now pull his arm on his right.
5) Go back to the spike statue to the left.
6) Push The head onto the spikes.
7) Touch the arm on the left to put the ramp up.
8) Climb upto to mouth, and touch it to open it.



Question:
Is there an end to these damn doors?

Answer:
Yes. But not until you are thoroughly sick of them. :)



Problem:
This fake muumy dude is growling at me, how do i get past him?

Hint:
Did you get the Luger Pistol from the secret Nazi base under
Quonset Hut #2?



Problem:
I can't seem to get any farther, How do I open the big door?

Hint:
Did you find the puzzle key on the skeleton?



Problem:
Well I have the key, but it doesn't do anything.

Solution:
Let out some explitives, and hike back to Lorrie, so she
can open the key because you are too stupid to figure it
out yourself. There is a huge gaping hole from a mini
earth quake to the right of the right pillar.



Problem:
I have 4 pieces and I don't know what to do with them.

Solution:
Put them in the 4 holes on the two pillars. If you can't
see them well enough to match up the symbols, then just
hit and miss, you only have 24 combinations to choose
from. Heh.



Problem:
I see some red crystals on top of the 3 obelisks, but I
can't get them.

Solution:
Turn around, on the wall is a button with an obelisk picture
on it, press it 3 times, then get your red crystals.



Problem:
The ghost told me to follow him, but I don't know where he
went.

Solution:
Go out the right doorway, and stay to your right, you will
come to his tomb.



Problem:
I read the scroll, and he took off, now what?

Hint:
If you stay to the right again, you should come upon his
lover's tomb.


Problem:
He froze me, and I can't move.

Hint:
You are impatient.



Problem:
I can't seem to find anything else to do.

Hint:
There is a secret passage next to the table in the
lover's tomb.



Problem:
There is a ghost dog blocking my way.

Hint:
Cut the rope bridge.
(Them bones, them bones, them dry bones....)



Problem:
I can't get the staff of Ra from the wall, what do I put in the
skeletal hand?

Hint:
Did you find the dog statues in Simotek's tomb? (The guy you
first used the scroll on.)



Problem:
I'm in a dark room with a funky red thing in the ceiling.

Hint:
Did you grab the red crystals from the obelisks?



Problem:
I put the crystal in but it didn't do anything.

Hint:
Did you put the right crystal in it?

Solution:
Touch the pedastal so the line at the base is facing you.
Repeat for the next two.



Problem:
How do I stop Simotek?

Solution:
Zap him with the staff of Ra.



Problem:
I'm in a desert of Boxes, and I'm stuck.

Hint:
Well, why not ride a box down the river?



Problem:
Chris has a gun, and I don't wanna die!

Solution:
Go to the cage, and get the gas mask & bomb.



Problem:
Well, Davenport shot Chris and wants the power crystal.

Solution:
Give him the power crystal, (if you don't have it, you
forgot to grab it after zapping Simotek.)
Reason: cuz Davenport is dumb, and you are done.



QUESTIONS FOR THE PLAYERS:

What does the bookmark/slip with the numbers 25 9 8 get used for?
What is the ancient necklace for?


QUESTIONS FOR THE AUTHORS:

Why doesn't Davenport care that we happen to be stealing everyone's keys?
How does the guy who dressed as a mummy get back to guard the gate before
we ride the train back up? (after the earthquake)
