3-5. Camera Upgrading
==============================================================================
There are many schools of thought on the order by which your camera should be
upgraded. Many people will say to unlock paralyze early, in order to help
with the tougher ghosts. If you did that, and used the spirit stones, you'd
be out of spirit stones by the time you really needed them.
Basically I disagree with paralyze first for one major reason. For the price
of paralyze, you can upgrade your camera to max speed. By FAR the most
important upgrade on your camera. Just be patient, if you practice good
camera skills, get all the floating and ground-tied spirits, you should have
paralyze just in time for the novelist at the end of night 1.
Night 1
-------
Max Speed (2,000)
Max Speed (8,000)
Max Speed (20,000)
Max Power (26,000)
Max Power (44,000)
Area (50,000)
Paralyze (68,000)
Night 2
-------
Max Power (104,000)
Area (116,000)
Night 3
-------
Area (140,000)
Search (154,000)
Game Clear
----------
Zoom (234,000)
Battle Mode Mission 10
----------------------
Zero (326,000)
Battle Mode Clear - All S-Rank
------------------------------
Chase (390,000)
Sense (432,000)
See (444,000)
Slow (462,000)
Pressure (478,000)
It takes about 100 well-captured Hatred Spirits, a complete ghost list, all
S-Rank battle mode, and completion of normal and nightmare to fully upgrade
your camera.
If you think that I listed too many things to have for night 1, remember that
your receive 24,000 Spirit Points just for capturing all the Seal, Floating,
and Ground-Tied Spirits for that night. That leaves 44,000 SP required to
complete my list. If you face 10 ghosts that means you'd only need 4,400
per spirit to attain that goal. It is likely you will face more than that,
reducing the avg. score needed. Take clean photos, it shouldn't be a problem.
**NOTE**
Anything Before the Zoom ability can be acquired as soon as you have the Spirit
Points for it. Do NOT Acquire See, Slow, Pressure before they are listed.
These skills are pretty much worthless and will never get used. Don't make
yourself wait for Zoom and Zero because you picked up junk skills. Starting
Battle Mode with Zoom will ensure you easy S-Ranks on all the missions. To
S-Rank Kirie Zero is highly recommended. If this means going through normal
again, do so. Nightmare is FAR easier with the Chase ability.
