Although the official hints and walkthrough by Ben Woodhouse say that it does
not really matter which gift you give which girl but only depends on how much
she already likes you, I'd still guess that there are more reasons for their
reaction; if she already loves you, she may accept just any gift - if she hates
you, she may reject any. There are a few facts which may be less important but
probably not useless:
- Stuffed animals are not quite a gift for a young-to-adult girl...
- Hitomi has a strong self-confidence, she is no kid anymore. So she will
call you nuts if you try to give her just an apron with a theme of a
child comic: She deserves precious metal "accessories".
- Sanae is the childish puppet of the three girls; not yet a woman, still
naive without clear goals in her life. She is not yet ready for a candle,
but instead adores the beautifully designed apron.
- Azusa has a metabolic disease (diabetes, IMHO); so she may not get happy
with sweet candy ("present set from a famous shop"). But she is already
quite adult and rather romantical; in a good mood, she knows how to use a
sweet smelling candle.
These ideas may or maynot help you - but I wish you good luck.

Obwohl die offiziellen Hinweise von Ben Woodhouse sagen, dass es nicht wirklich
eine Rolle spielen soll, was man wem schenkt, sondern nur davon abhängt, wie
sehr sie Dich bereits mag, glaube ich dennoch, dass es noch weitere Gründe für
ihre Reaktion geben könnte; wenn sie Dich bereits liebt, mag sie wohl jedes
Geschenk annehmen - wenn sie Dich hasst, jedes ablehnen. Es gibt aber ein paar
Fakten, die zwar weniger, aber wohl nicht unwichtig sein könnten:
- Ausgestopfte Tiere sind vielleicht nicht das passende Geschenk für ein
junges bis erwachsenes Mädchen...
- Hitomi hat ein starkes Selbstbewusstsein, sie ist kein Kind mehr. So wird sie
Dich wohl für blöd halten, wenn Du ihr mit einer Schürze (apron) mit Comic-
Design kommst: Sie verdient eher Modeschmuck (accessories).
- Sanae ist das kindliche Püppchen unter den Dreien; noch keine Frau, eher
naiv und noch ohne feste Ziele im Leben. Duftkerzen sind noch nicht ganz das
richtige, aber auf die Comic-Schürze steht sie.
- Azusa hat eine Stoffwechselkrankheit (Diabetes, glaube ich); Süßigkeiten
("present set from a famous shop") machen sie nicht glücklich. Jedoch ist sie
schon recht erwachsen und romantisch; in der richtigen Stimmung weiß sie eine
süß duftende Kerze (candle) zu schätzen.
Diese Ideen könnten helfen oder auch nicht - ich wünsche jedenfalls viel Glück.
