To beat THEME PARK you must have knowledge, patience, and a whole truckload a'
money! To get things off to a good start, let's begin somewhere logical, like
the beginning of the game! You watch the introduction and then go from the
rollercoaster to the nickname screen. Enter your nickname* (Enter the name
B -
O - V - I - N - E and during the game you can press O+X+[ ] and get a lot of
money, all the rides, and everything else your heart desires!) to get things
going. The next screen has you enter your real name, theme park name, the
simulation level, the attitude of park visitors, the difficulty of the game,
the amount of opponents, and the opponents' level of difficulty, and lastly,
whether you've played before or not. Press select and you're on your way!
Now
here you are looking at screen with a bunch of countries on it. I'll get a
little more detailed later on but for right now, I just call it a Park Place
Locator. Of course you have to start at United Kingdom because you don't have
enough money to buy land any other place, do you? So you select UK, read the
little window that you see next, click on the little box in the corner of the
window with the dollar sign on it, press on the CHECK MARK box and once again
press select.
Oh boy. Doesn't this park look exciting! Well I'm not going to tell you how
to make your park but here is one thing. If you used the Bovine cheat then
start using it! But to those who didn't, well I'm proud of you, I also wish
you good luck, (you're gonna' need it!) First put out everything you have but
don't make the same ride twice. It's a waste of money!
You must put out guards! One at the front gate, and two inside the park is
all
you need. Next, put at least one handyman on the paths, and two on the
grass.
Third, you'll need to put mechanics near 1. Snake Slide 2. Bouncy Castle 3.
In the middle of nowhere (just to be safe). Now open your park by clicking on
the gates and then, after you get enough money, raise the ticket prices by 50
and put some entertainers in and around the park. Putting to strong men
outside of the entrance is reccomended for attention.
Now after a while the little assistant guy'll say, "YOUR STOCK IS LOW", so
hit
L1 and then tap square on the smiley face. It'll bring you to the stock
stuff. Select what you need choose how much more you have to have by hitting
R1 to raise the order and L1 to lower it. Then click on little van be on your
way. But don't go back to the game just yet! First you need to go back to
the
smiley face symbol but instead you'll be hitting X. Now you should at the
screen with all the little people at the top. The little purple ones are
unhappy, not good. But don't do anything just yet. First click on the
lightbulb. You will need to go to the top pump when you come to the next
screen. Press R1 to make the pump fill up. Now go down once and put half of
your research on ride designs and the other half on bus sizes. Now just sit
and marvel at your own creation.
The New year should be ringing in by now. Scan through and see how you're
doing. Come back to the game and select the rides option. You should have
some new ones! Put them out around the park. Now go back to the "pump"
screen
and remove your bus size research and put the rest on shop designs.
Uh oh. You're low on money. First raise you're ticket prices. Now I'm going
to tell you a little secret . . . Select one of your sideshows by pressing R1
when the hand is on it and then choosing the ?, (side show example: Duck
Shoot), and Make it nearly impossible to win. Now raise the price of the
prize
to it's highest and then raise the price of each game by about 400. Watch the
money roll in! Another money-getter is, after a few years, after you've put
out the Fries Place and Pokey Cola, raise the amount of salt to it's highest
and lower the price a bit. Put the Pokey Cola right next to it and raise the
price of cola by about 200.
Now keep at this till your park is worth A LOT OF MONEY and sell it. Now I
said I'd get more detailed with that Park Place Locator Screen and so now I
will. You have 24 countries and cities to choose from. Greenland, Alaska,
Northern U.S.A., Eastern U.S.A., California, Peru, Brazil, Argentina,
Iceland,
Scandinavia, UK, Europe, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Antarctica, Yakutsk,
Russia, China, Japan, Kuwait, India, Australia, and New Zealand. Select the
most expensive one you can afford and continue on with your Park Owning.
Keep your stock in shape, raise your ticket prices a little about every 6
months, negotiate honostly, and take every penny you can get your hands on!
Who ever said this was a game of honosty? You never really beat the game
so if
you own this game, trust me, it was a good purchase!
