Action-adventure prequel set in the Cathedral universe features a free playable demo now available on Steam
Helsingborg, Sweden, March 20th, 2026 – Independent Swedish developer Decemberborn Interactive announced today that Cathedral: Crow's Curse will be featured during the Mundo Gamer Showcase, taking place March 20. Organized by Mundo Gamer Network, the online event showcases upcoming indie games, featuring new trailers, announcements, and gameplay highlights for a global audience of players and industry professionals.

Cathedral: Crow's Curse is an upcoming action-adventure prequel set in the world of Cathedral, combining tight combat, exploration, and atmospheric storytelling. Play as Crow, a skilled Shade Sentinel first introduced as an NPC in Cathedral. As the balance of the Shade Forest begins to unravel, Crow must venture through cursed woods and forgotten ancient ruins to uncover the roots of the Sentinel order and confront the dark forces at its core.
The free demo drops players into the heart of action, designed to showcase the game's core mechanics. Players will explore two distinct areas – The Deep Forest and Elarion's Refuge – and gain access to multiple items and abilities that highlight combat depth, traversal, and progression.
Cathedral: Crow's Curse is coming to PlayStation, Switch and PC in 2026.
