Dying Light Franchise celebrates 11 years of zombie apocalypse

Wrocław, February 12 - Techland is to celebrate the 11th anniversary of its iconic Dying Light series with a wealth of new content as it propels the series into new horizons.

Over 50 million people across the world have been infected by Dying Light's stunning formula of open world, horror adventure since the original title launched in 2015. Each new game has expanded and evolved the core concept, culminating in the most recent epic chapter: last year's Dying Light: The Beast.

To celebrate 11 years of zombie apocalypse, survival and parkour, Techland has reaffirmed its commitment to the franchise with a series of updates, celebrations and sales to further cement the reputation of this incredible success story. These will take the form of in-game events in the original Dying Light, its sequel Dying Light 2: Stay Human, and will offer new ways to enjoy the immersive post-apocalyptic world overrun by hordes of the zombies.

New and existing fans of the first Dying Light will be able to revisit two popular events, while Dying Light 2: Stay Human will introduce an all-new three-week event titled Infected Outbreak. Increasing numbers of infected will appear across different parts of the city, challenging players to keep the situation under control. Participating in the event will unlock rewards, including an exclusive Kyle Crane skin from Dying Light: The Beast. Dying Light 2: Stay Human will also receive new paid content in the form of The Black Hand bundle, which expands the game's narrative through discoverable story elements.

Techland is also presenting impressive statistics showcasing how the games were embraced by enthusiastic and committed fans during the franchise's 11th year.
