New No Stone Unturned Trailer Puts the Fox Among the Chickens in a Comedy Noir Murder Mystery
Squirreling away some clues for later
London, United Kingdom — February 6, 2026 | Wise Monkey Entertainment Ltd has released a brand new trailer and dev diary for its upcoming comedy noir detective game, No Stone Unturned.
Watch the Official Game Trailer here:
Putting players in the well-worn shoes of hardboiled squirrel gumshoe Detective Cox, No Stone Unturned kicks off with a single mystery — why did the chicken cross the road, and who was driving the runaway vehicle that killed them?
As players begin to investigate this untimely death, they'll find themselves falling down a rabbit hole of organised crime, full of shady characters, staring contests and seedy bars, as they chase down prime suspect and fox of interest, Big Red.
Wise Monkey Entertainment has also released the first episode of Detective's Log, a new series of development diaries narrated by Detective Cox himself. This first entry shows off some of the new animations in the game, goes behind the scenes of a recording of one of the game's songs, and reveals that No Stone Unturned is on track to launch later in 2026.

With a mystery that's part Agatha Christie, part Hot Fuzz, No Stone Unturned will have players solving a murder most fowl when it comes to PC later this year.

Gareth Owens (the game's creator) started out at 12 years old as a freelance script writer for the Film Industry whilst lying about his age, before becoming an Escape Room designer for the best interactive experiences in London. With two police detective parents and old comedy cassettes to inspire him, he turned his creative efforts to Mystery and Detective fiction. Thanks to a love for video games and the Film Industry feeling "doomed by streaming", Gareth began learning to make games. Many years later, his debut release is coming soon with the help of a very small remote team of industry professionals and worldwide artists.
