AC EVO receives its fifth Early Access update (v. 0.5) with new content, features and a sharper focus on what matters

Milan, February 11th , 2026 — Global Publisher 505 Games and developer KUNOS Simulazioni are pleased to announce that Assetto Corsa EVO, currently available on Steam in Early Access, receives its latest update (v.0.5) today, introducing new content, fresh ways to capture your driving, and important under-the-hood improvements. These updates bring Assetto Corsa EVO closer to the long-term vision developed by KUNOS Simulazioni together with the active community throughout this first year of the Early Access program.
In terms of contents, this update introduces 7 new cars and expands the track roster including Watkins Glen International and the Circuit Paul Ricard, both available in several layouts, each realized with KUNOS' signature detail, starting from real-life laser scan survey. It also debuts a highly requested usability feature: the first iteration of Free Camera mode, designed for cinematic exploration, advanced replays, and content creation, with additional powerful capabilities planned for upcoming releases.

Two iconic circuits join Assetto Corsa EVO, each with multiple layouts expanding single and multiplayer experiences, including Daily Racing as well as AC EVO web portal where players can challenge each other:
- Watkins Glen International (4 layouts)
- Circuit Paul Ricard (4 layouts)
Core Improvements
- Free Camera mode (first iteration) to explore cars, the environment, and the action from new angles.
Users can now revisit their best moments through replays and capture screenshots or videos of their best actions using external tools. At this stage, the mode does not yet include dedicated photo mode features, but it will continue to evolve through future updates, given its central importance for the community.
- DLSS 4.5 Update This update also upgrades the technology stack with the introduction of DLSS 4.5, enhancing both performance scalability and image quality across a broader range of hardware configurations. It continues the team's long-term effort to build a simulation framework that can evolve with the project, ensuring that the foundations being developed today deliver the best possible quality to performance ratio as Assetto Corsa EVO continues to grow.
- Several gameplay improvements: which include key refinements to Track Limits penalties, Blue Flags logic, UI, shared memory and the first improvement step for the Dynamic Track system
