Check the hottest Spanish indie games in GameSpain Direct, the new seasonal event for Spanish videogames

The Spanish industry association DEV (Desarrollo Español de Videojuegos) announces Gamespain Direct, a new initiative to promote Spanish independent videogames through the GameSpain portal. GameSpain Direct is a seasonal event aimed at highlighting some of the best upcoming Spanish indie games, showcasing 25 games as well as interviews with a selection of studios. The first one, the GameSpain Direct Winter, will take place on February 11th at 8:00 PST / 11:00 EST / 17:00 CET, hosted by content creator ClemmyGames in his Youtube channel.
This event will showcase a varied selection of Spanish games – from titles coming from well-established studios to the first creations of solo devs; games of all genres for consoles, computers, mobile platforms, and VR. Its goal is to uplift the entire development community, contributing to the success of upcoming games and helping new developers gain entry into this highly competitive industry.
ABOUT THE GAMESPAIN DIRECT
GameSpain Direct is an event focused on promoting upcoming Spanish video games, set for release within weeks or months at most. The event will take place seasonally featuring 25 trailers, each up to a minute long, all introduced by content creator ClemmyGames – well-known for discovering new indie gems in his channel. Every GameSpain Direct will also feature short interviews with the developers to gain a better understanding of the games, their mechanics, and of course when they will be available! Submissions are open forGameSpain Direct Spring (date to be announced).
GameSpain is a programme with the goal of promoting Spanish games in international markets, as well as connecting Spanish developers with investors, publishers, media, and other relevant actors of the video games industry. The GameSpain initiative is funded by the Spanish government and led by the industry association DEV (Desarrollo Español de Videojuegos).
