VR bootlegging sim Prison Boss Prohibition launches expansive DLC ‘Rise & Grind’
VR studio TREBUCHET have dropped an expansive DLC for Prison Boss Prohibition, the sequel to the cult hit Prison Boss VR. The DLC is out now on Quest and SteamVR for $4.99 (check regional pricing for specific areas), and features a whole new neighbourhood, new tools, and a vast catalogue of riches to make by hand – all while avoiding the long arm of the law!
About the game
Prison Boss Prohibition expands its bootlegging empire with the new Grind and Shine DLC. Away from the streets of New Yolk City and into the rail-town sights of Scrambleton, you'll master a new set of tools, from the furnace to the grindstone, get to work cooking up the finest forgeries in town. Work solo or with up to three partners in co-op, and no matter what you do — don't get caught!

About the game
Prison Boss Prohibition is a crime simulation VR game about growing your own black market empire, and the business continues to expand with the new Grind and Shine DLC. Swapping the sights of New Yolk City for a gritty 1930s rail-town, your latest patrons are The Eggsploiters, a group of wealthy, ruthless businessmen that run the roost in Scrambleton.
Grind and Shine adds new tools to your bootlegging arsenal as you master the anvil, forge oven, grindstone and more. You'll create the finest gold bars, gemstones, rings, watches and other forged-goods these streets have ever seen, building your reputation with the city's different factions. Whether you're crafting illicit goods solo or with up to three friends, don't let the cops catch you!

More updates will follow later this year, including a new Custom Game Mode and Sandbox. A Season Pass has also been available on Quest since December for $7.99, which includes the DLC and cosmetic packs. Further changes since launch include throwing cash bribes at cops, and new character models for cops. New comfort options for joystick locomotion with movement and rotation speeds are also available.
