Apogee Shares Updates for Quest Master, Including a Highly Requested Weapon, Holiday Festivities, and a New Release Window
Apogee Entertainment has shared some important updates for its popular action-adventure dungeon maker, Quest Master. To start, Quest Master will officially launch its full 1.0 version in Q2 2026. More immediately, the team is thrilled to launch a surprise update, containing one of the community's most requested items, the Bow & Arrow, plus an updated theme coming to Castle Town, packed to the brim with lights, snow, and more to celebrate the holiday festivities.
A perilous and wondrous adventure awaits... delve beneath the verdant kingdom of Aetheria, and seek out the dark forces that are tainting the source of the Great Barrier, which protects the realm from danger beyond. Work with colorful characters and journey across distinct, action-packed biomes to uncover the secrets that lie beneath Aetheria's surface. Quest Master is Apogee's love letter to classic dungeon crawlers, and an open canvas for players to create their own unique dungeon experiences.
The Bow & Arrow is the last tool to be added before Quest Master's 1.0 launch and is easily the most anticipated. As players progress, they'll be able to upgrade their bow from a measly Wooden Bow up to the strongest bow of them all, the Recurve Bow, optimal for hordes of enemies as it disperses a spread of three arrows in a single shot. Along with the Bow & Arrow comes the Bomb Arrows, which pack a heavy blow of TNT, plus the Eye Switch, a new dungeon tool that can only be activated by arrows.
The Quest Master community is one of Apogee's most loyal and dedicated communities. This holiday update serves as a token of appreciation for the player base, which just exceeded 5,500 player-crafted dungeons.

- The Bustling Hub: A reimagined Castle Town presents a thoughtfully designed hub filled with evolving NPCs, side quests, and hidden surprises. Characters like Lanze, Javelyn, and Shiv are each brought to life with distinct personalities and goals that connect directly to the player's journey.
