UK concert 2026 tour revealed, kicking off in the North East following London’s world premiere

LONDON, 20th November 2025 — BAFTA, in collaboration with Nibbs Events and Esk, is thrilled to announce new additions to the BAFTA Games in Concert line-up, including Helldivers 2, Far Cry 4, Fallout 4 and a world premiere performance of Returnal. The acclaimed London Voices and BAFTA-winning band Sea Power also join the roster at the concert premiere, alongside a newly introduced VIP Meet & Greet experience with composers.

The London premiere takes place on Saturday, 31st January 2026, at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, where London Voices will join with the 65-piece BBC Concert Orchestra on stage. Sea Power, who won the BAFTA Games Award for Music for Disco Elysium in 2020, will also perform live.

Fans with tickets to the world premiere can now purchase add-on admission to the post-show VIP Meet & Greet at the Southbank Centre for a unique first-hand experience and signing opportunity with multiple BAFTA award-winning games composers, whilst indulging in drinks and canapes. Composers in attendance at the VIP Meet & Greet will be Austin Wintory, Jesper Kyd and Borislav Slavov. More to follow.

Following the London event, the BAFTA Games in Concert UK Tour, presented by Kilimanjaro Live, esk and Nibbs Events begins in Gateshead on Saturday, 23rd May 2026, before travelling to Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester, with more locations to be announced in coming weeks.

Assassin’s Creed and Hitman composer Jesper Kyd, also commented: “BAFTA has been championing game music for over 20 years so it's an honor to contribute to this concert and forthcoming tour. I'm excited to share that I worked on a brand new Assassin's Creed suite which features music from Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 as well as a new Hitman suite which includes music from my BAFTA-winning score for Hitman Contracts. Thank you BAFTA for asking me to be part of this great celebration.”

Event Information (World Premiere):

BAFTA Games in Concert will feature the BBC Concert Orchestra in a world premiere performance under the direction of acclaimed composer and conductor Austin Wintory, (Journey, Assassin's Creed Syndicate). Attendees will be treated to a musical journey, showcasing key nominees and winners of the Music award from the BAFTA Games Awards over the last 20 years. The concert will synchronise visuals, gameplay, and imagery, along with live performance, immersing music fans and gamers in the emotional and cultural power of video game music.
