Origami 3D platformer Hirogami irons out creases with major update for Steam players
Tokyo, Japan – October 23rd, 2025 – Nearly two months since launching on September 3rd, 3D origami platforming adventure Hirogami has received a brand new update on Steam - alongside a 35% off discount - from developer Bandai Namco Studios Singapore and publisher Kakehashi Games.
With initial launch creases freshly ironed out, Hirogami has been refolded into a better experience for all players, boasting adjustments to the fixed-angle camera positioning, rebalanced combat across all levels, lower thresholds for unlocking late-game levels, bug fixes, and more.
As shared in their original announcement on Steam, publisher Kakehashi Games explains, "This update would not have been possible without [the community's] thoughtful feedback, honesty, and patience, and we're hopeful the changes being made will uplift our most important priority: making Hirogami the absolute best it can be for our players."
Players enjoying Hirogami on PlayStation 5 can rest assured that the update and discount are heading to console as well, arriving slightly later due to certification timelines and platform-specific processes. Kakehashi Games has confirmed this process is underway and will be sharing an exact date for PS5 players on their social media at a later time.
Experience the new-and-improved Hirogami on Steam and Epic Games Store today for 35% off, discounted now until November 6th, 2025.
