FATSHARK RIDES THE ANNIVERSARY TIDE: 10 YEARS & NEW WAVES OF CONTENT
To mark a full decade since the launch of its beloved Tide series, Fatshark is unveiling a special anniversary roadmap with over a month of new content for Vermintide 2 and Darktide, including the highly anticipated reveal of Darktide’s next class.
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, October 23, 2025. Coinciding with Warhammer Day, Fatshark is unveiling a special anniversary roadmap that delivers over a month of connected content across both Vermintide 2 and Darktide. The campaign brings a packed calendar of events and content for each title including the reveal of Darktide’s next playable class slated for November 11. Below is the full calendar of activities so that Tide fans can plan their participation:
October 21: Darktide - “Stolen Rations” Special Event (Oct 21 - Nov 10, 2025)
The Stolen Rations event introduces Darktide’s first community-versus-community challenge. Players will have to find stolen rations in missions and choose to destroy them or recover them to feed Tertium’s population. Community choices directly shape the event, with the leading decision setting new gameplay conditions.
October 23: Vermintide 2 - Geheimnistnacht Event (Oct 23 - Nov 2, 2025)
Geheimnistnacht will feature double XP and will take-over the Keep! During this event players will be able to interact with ritual sites across five levels, and event quests that will award a new portrait frame and five new weapon illusions. Previous years’ Geheimnistnacht frames and weapon illusions will also be available in the store.
November 11: Darktide - New Class Reveal
Fatshark will officially reveal the next playable class for Darktide. More details and developer insights will follow in the days after the reveal.
November 20: Vermintide 2 - Return to the Reik (Release)
This release brings back a fan-favourite location from Vermintide 1, expanded and re-imagined for Vermintide 2. River Reik returns with expanded, boat‑focused gameplay that puts deck skirmishes front and center. Fight across swaying platforms, and use the environment of the barge and riverbanks to turn every encounter into a cinematic, co‑op setpiece. Players will be able to enjoy yet another double XP period!
December 2: Darktide - Free Update & Special Event (details to follow!)
A major free update arrives December 2, 2025, with a new Operation mission set in the trenches of Atoma and a new time-limited special event. More features related to this update and the special event will be revealed in the coming weeks!
December 9: Vermintide 2 - Gifts of the Wolf-Father (Dec 9, 2025 - Jan 3, 2026)
Vermintide 2 kicks off its yearly Gifts of the Wolf Father, an advent-calendar-style event delivering double xp and daily in-game rewards (including new weapon illusions and a portrait frame) throughout the holiday season!
