ROLL UP FOR MEDIEVAL MAYHEM AS DICEALOT LAUNCHES TODAY
High-Stakes, High-Tension, and Highly Chaotic Roguelike Dice-Building Battles Await
Bristol, UK – October 9, 2025 – Yogscast Games invites players to roll the dice and save the Knights of the Round Table as Dicealot rolls onto PC via Steam from today. Combining medieval madness with Farkle-fueled dice duels, players must draw on strategy, luck, and nerves of steel as they battle an array of Arthurian antagonists. Keep the dice rolling for more combos and greater power, or play it safe and attack more often with less force. Every act provides a different challenge, and with power-ups available through progression, there is more than one way to skin a Cath Pulug or any other proverbial cat, a plague of rats or a good old-fashioned knight.
"Dicealot gives you a thrill in tempting your luck, and pushing for the biggest attack possible," said Simon Byron, Managing Director, Yogscast Games. "Goodviewgames has rolled the dice and come up with something special and highly playable. There's a push and pull in each battle where the temptation to roll the dice just one more time adds to the anticipation of winning."
Combining Camelot charm with light-hearted comedic combat, Dicealot takes the simple Farkle mechanics and ups the ante with a risk-reward component and a plethora of upgrades to add more fuel to the fire. Armed with six dice, players must roll a winning combination to continue. Succeed, and it's decision time. Immediately strike the opponent with the power of the overall score, or risk it all and roll again in the hope of delivering a greater blow. The bigger the score, the more damage inflicted on the enemy. But rolling a Farkle results in no score, and power returns to zero as the enemy strikes, draining your health.
As the points per battle increase, so does the player's ability to add to their arsenal. Before the next conquest, stores become available, each providing the opportunity to add Power, Resolve or Armour through dice and Vassals. Quest Dice can aid power, but each die has multiple negative faces, which is where the re-rolls come in handy. Power Dice can help stack the odds by increasing the chances of hitting a particular number. Vassals are buffs that complement the dice and can boost health, gold and even alter winning combinations. With no one way to succeed, it's left to the player to decide whether to opt for all-out power or retain extra resolve for when the enemy gets enraged and attacks with multiple dice.
Developed by Goodview Games, Dicealot rolls onto Steam on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Keep up-to-date with the latest news and information, visit the Yogscast Games website and follow across BlueSky, Instagram, YouTube and the Dicealot Discord.
