Viral sensation ‘Sledding Game’ debuts narrated trailer at Open Sauce Showcase
'The Sledding Corporation', aka solo indie dev Max, unveiled a new narrated trailer for his viral multiplayer game Sledding Game at today's Open Sauce showcase. In the trailer Max talks through the combination of aimless fun, proximity chat, ragdoll physics and general silliness that has earned the game millions of views across Twitter and Instagram. He also shows off some cool new player characters including a panda bear and an arctic fox. Nice!
About the game
Sledding Game is a multiplayer snowsports hangout game with proximity chat. Go sledding, relax and see what else there is to do. There's also ragdoll physics so the crashes look terrible really really good.
Use proximity voice chat to talk to friends, or express your feelings by repeatedly crashing into each other. Race on the slopes, stack up points with gnarly tricks, compete in minigames, snowball fights, darts – or just chill out with a cup of hot coca. There's also customizable characters and cool cosmetics.
Join old friends in private lobbies or go to a public lobby and make new ones. With up to fifty(??) players per lobby, things can get extremely chaotic. Oh and if you go too far while exploring a yeti will appear and kick you back onto the map. Consider yourself warned.
