Remedy Entertainment Releases New FBC: Firebreak 'Hazards of the Job' Trailer, Game Launching this Summer
Special Livestream Coming on April 24 for Three-Player Cooperative Multiplayer FPS Set in the Mysterious World of Control
Espoo, Finland – April 17, 2025 – Today, Remedy Entertainment unveiled a new gameplay trailer entitled 'Hazards of the Job' for FBC: Firebreak, a three-player co-op FPS where the Federal Bureau of Control's first-response unit must contain an escalating paranatural threat. When the Oldest House, the Bureau's shifting headquarters, falls under siege by a relentless paranatural force, only Firebreak – its most adaptable response unit – has the skills and courage to restore order.
Remedy also announced today that the FBC: Firebreak development team will host a special livestream on April 24 at 10 AM PST / 6 PM GMT / 8 PM EEST, offering fans a chance to learn more about the game, key launch details and future plans. The livestream will run on the Remedy Twitch and YouTube channels.
The trailer showcases some of the hazards that players will have to face and contain in the game, like a Furnace spewing fire across the Maintenance Sector or pink Exogenic Mass that explodes if you touch it.
Launching in summer 2025, FBC: Firebreak is Remedy Entertainment's first self-published game and will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A mid-priced title, FBC: Firebreak will also be available day one via PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium).
