Bratislava, Slovakia - November 19, 2024. Blue Brain Games announces The House of Da Vinci VR will launch simultaneously on Meta Quest and Steam VR platforms on December 4th, 2024. This virtual reality adaptation of the acclaimed puzzle series invites players to step into Renaissance Italy and unravel the mysterious disappearance of Leonard da Vinci.
As the master inventor’s most promising apprentice, players arrive in 16th-century Florence only to find Leonardo has vanished without a trace. Armed with an extraordinary device that reveals events from the past, they must navigate through historically inspired locations, testing their wit against war machines, complex lockboxes, and immersive escape rooms. The game seamlessly translates the series’ signature puzzle mechanics into an intuitive VR experience, built from the ground up for VR, allowing players to manipulate complex Renaissance machinery with their own hands.
Each puzzle and challenge draws inspiration from Da Vinci’s actual inventions, while environments are meticulously crafted based on his original artworks and the historical city of Florence, offering an unprecedented journey into the mind of history’s greatest genius.
The House of Da Vinci VR will launch on Steam VR and the Meta Horizon Store on December 4th 2024. Review codes are available now.
