About Edge of Sanity
Set in the unforgiving wilderness of Alaska, Edge of Sanity is a Cthulhu-inspired, 2D survival horror game. The cosmic and disturbing story follows Carter, an ordinary worker whose mind slowly succumbs to madness. With no other options, he leads a group of survivors on a desperate mission to explore, scavenge, and survive together against untold eldritch horrors.
In Edge of Sanity, players explore the remote Alaskan wilderness, searching for other survivors and scavenging for essential supplies. Preparing carefully for both main and side expeditions is crucial, as each new survivor found increases the need for food and water, as well as the risk of disease.
Each dramatic event during the journey across Alaska leaves a permanent scar on Carter’s mind. As madness accumulates, it leads to new traumas that affect your character’s actions and perception of reality, unlock new dialogue options, and even enable the crafting of unique items.
