CitizenCon 2952 Returns to Twitch on Oct. 8 to Celebrate Star Citizen with a Day of Panels, Reveals, Giveaways, and More

CitizenCon is CIG’s annual event designed to not only celebrate all things Star Citizen, but to recognize and give back to the amazing community that makes it all possible. The number one destination for fans to connect with CIG developers and fellow players alike, CitizenCon 2952 will feature engaging discussions, exciting reveals, and a first-look at what’s in store for the most ambitious and transparent game development project in history. Cloud Imperium Games is excited to announce that CitizenCon 2952 will air on the official Star Citizen Twitch.tv channel. With an all-digital format and a full day of scheduled events, panels, announcements, and entertainment, this year’s CitizenCon will remain accessible for all and is a must-watch for space sim fans around the world.

CitizenCon 2952 attendees can look forward to a full day packed with activities, including:
- Deep Dive Panels: Players can join numerous panels for deep dives and new details on the “Journey to 4.0,” including a look at the upcoming Pyro System, investigation missions, the upcoming Resource Management System, and the annual presentation from the ship teams. Additional information about CIG’s ambitious plans for the new Community Hub 2.0 will be revealed as well.
- Digital Goodies Pack: All backers will receive a free bundle of goods to commemorate the event. Celebrate the milestone in-game with Francis the Party Animal Plushie before heading out into the ‘verse in style with the Frontier Jumpsuit and Frontier Weapon Skin for the Behring Grenade Launcher!
- “Babbage Bash” Race hosted by Atmo Esports: The ace drivers of Atmo Esports and others will be showcasing a brand-new race located at New Babbage on microTech! Tune in to watch the race and see a new vehicle in action for the very first time.
- Giveaways: CIG and their partners will host fantastic giveaways throughout the event! Three Tobii Eye Tracker 5 devices from Tobii will be granted to lucky attendees, giving them a new perspective on gameplay and dogfights in Star Citizen. Physical collectors are in luck as well, with JRDF offering fans a chance to win a Carrack ship model (1:500 scale) and two diorama, a Freelancer MAX (1:200 scale) and diorama, or a Cyclone TR (1:40 scale).
