Today, all you happy faced Fallout 76 players might actually be able to get something you want from Bethesda, and for once, they aren't going to charge you for it! Aren't you lucky? If you're really good, it might even be as described! Wouldn't that be something?
The first slate of content for Wild Appalachia is launching today, totally free, as long as you have the base game. This free update brings you a series of new quests, features, events, crafting systems and more. Players can start a brand-new quest that will teach them to brew up tasty beverages that will help (and potentially hinder) their ability to take on the horrors of Appalachia, because nothing goes with guns and mutants like sweet, sweet booze. Bethesda has also promised to release regular patches alongside Wild Appalachia, and to continue making updates and balance changes along with other new features like player reporting and challenge tracking. Since Bethesda has never lied or let anyone down before, I think we should all get over the top excited about it and make wild claims like, "This is when they start to turn it around!".
Isn't hope a wonderful thing?
The Wild Appalachia update is available now.
