Beat Cop is a retro, pixelated adventure set in New York, that draws heavily from 80's cop shows. You assume the role of Jack Kelly and you’ve been framed for murder by some asshole, who obviously does not respect the thin blue line. Now, demoted, ashamed and hungry for hot dogs, you hit the streets as a regular beat cop and figure out who did it on the mean streets of Brooklyn.
You won't find a lot of allies in this situation, either. Your new boss treats you horribly, your wife is a money sucking spawn from hell and the local mafia wants your head on a plate, so you are pretty well good and screwed. You'll also need to keep writing tickets, admonishing jaywalkers, busting petty thieves & so on; you know, beat cop shit. You'll have to keep up with your job while turning over every stone in the city and the further you investigate, the more missing pieces of the puzzle you’ll find in your quest for the truth.
