We talked a little about Garage last month, and the newest gameplay footage is confirming our reports... this game looks sick. Coming across like an old-school SMASH TV style title, Garage is a top-down shooter that leans heavily on VHS-era B-movies, bringing mad mayhem to the Switch on May 10th.
You play as an ex-drug dealer named Butch, who single-handedly slays hordes of living dead and mutants when he finds himself in an underground parking garage. Wandering around, he accidentally uncovers a secret underworld filled with mutants and the undead. You'll have to craft and find weapons, commandeer various vehicles, smash boxes and crush heads if you wanna stay alive, and the story looks like it will be B-movie outlandish zombie fare.
Check out the zombie mayhem below, and get an idea for how the gameplay is going to feel. Butch begins with his fists, beating a zombie to paste, before acquiring an axe, which he uses to pop locks and rend bone before graduating to shotguns and uzis.
Garage arrives on the Switch May 10th.
