This Lovecraft inspired title from Frogwares studios doesn't have a release date yet, but it's stirring up a lot of excitement already. Set in a city that is slowly being taken by the rising tide, the only things that are left are madness, despair and hopelessness. You are a private eye who has been been summoned to the small town of Oakmont in New England, Massachusetts, and your employers want you to find out why the town is starting to flood and what sinister forces are at work in the city.
You will not only fight the elements in this title, but you' alsoll encounter something otherworldly as you try to find out what is going on in this small town. This is an open world game, and you'll explore both on foot and by boat as you traverse the flooded buildings and streets that making getting around town a bit of a challenge.
What's got most people (and me) pumped for this game is the developers announcing that they are releasing a tool that will allow you to generate your own environments. All you need to do is to lay out the groundwork for your city, tell it which parts are residential or industrial and hit generate. The tool will do the rest of the work and this will allow the player community to tell their own stories as well!
