Badass Hero from Awesome Games Studio has been available in Early Access on Steam for a while and now it's getting a new chapter, The Last Stand Of Earth, available now. Badass Hero is a rogue-lite action-platformer set in a comic book universe, with fast-paced hit-and-run gameplay where you never do the same thing twice, thanks to procedurally generated levels and random items, 2D art and a comic-book based story line.
Chaos has entered the comic book multiverse and your whole world has gone crazy. You play a once-great hero from a long-gone era and you no longer have your super powers. Your quest is simple, but deadly – you need to write your story anew and relive your greatest accomplishments. Order will be restored once you prove you are the true Badass Hero. You'll need to keep a firm grip on your guns and collect ink from your defeated foes in order to upgrade your hero. The more ass you kick the stronger you get, but if you don't keep your head on a swivel, your new legacy will be one of pathetic failure.
