From IQ Publishing:
IQ Publishing, publisher of Bohemian Killing created by The Moonwalls, a game development studio, is pleased to announce the upcoming release date and present latest screenshots.

The release date of Bohemian Killing is fast approaching. Recent weeks have been an extremely busy time for both the developer and the publisher. In June, at Pixel Heaven 2016, the game was presented to the public for the first time and instantly appealed to players, which was reflected in the award in the “Best Story” category. At the same time, Bohemian Killing was made available on the Steam Greenlight platform and immediately got into the TOP 100. In a record short time, within only a week, it was selected from thousands of other games. “We are very pleased with such rapid voting, especially when it comes to a new adventure game. It makes us optimistic before the official release!” said Marcin Makaj, author of the game.

Bohemian Killing will make its debut on Steam on 21st July. The game will be available in Polish and English versions. The main character is dubbed by Stephane Cornicard, the world-famous film and voice actor.

Before the upcoming release, The Moonwalls has presented latest screenshots. They feature selected locations inspired by the original Paris architecture. For example, the courtroom in which the main character testifies, has been created based on the real one in the Palace of Justice in Paris. The prison, which may be the element of one of the game’s multiple endings, was inspired by the La Sante prison in the capital. In the game we will be able to appreciate the original Paris nooks, genuine posters, and other elements of the 19th century reality. Players will also find many references to historical events, e.g. the Alfred Dreyfus affair or the Dominichi affair.

The presented screenshots also feature an illustration of the way in which the player conducts court proceedings and uses evidence. Being accused of murder, the player will have access to all the evidence, which they will be able to use in order to obtain the desired verdict.

Bohemian Killing is a non-linear adventure game set in a 19th century steampunk France, based on the classic Phoenix Wright series. The player assumes the role of Alfred Ethon, a charismatic inventor of gypsy origin, who is brought to court and accused of murder.

The main character of the game is played and dubbed by a world-class film and voice actor, Stephane Cornicard. Cornicard played in blockbusters such as “Spectre,” the most recent Bond film, or Steven Spielberg’s “Saving Private Ryan”. His career as a voice actor is no less impressive and includes Syphon Filter, Primal, Metal Gear Solid, and the Dragon Age and Total War series.

At the very beginning of the questioning, Alfred Ethon…pleads not guilty of the crime he is accused of! In Bohemian Killing, everything depends on the player, who is given a chance to clear Ethan of all charges  despite his evident and undisputed guilt. The player can deny, lie, mislead, manipulate evidence, blame other people or look for mitigating circumstances. It is up to the player and their skills to solve this exceptionally complex and unobvious case. Every decision can have irrevocable consequences; every decision brings you one step closer to the final judgment!
