Today, Ubisoft announced that Hungry Shark World, the 6th installment in the successful franchise developed by Future Games of London, will launch on the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon store on May 5, 2016.
Following the success of Hungry Shark Evolution, which has seen more than 230 million downloads*, Future Games of London returns to the shark arcade with the simulated aquatic feeding frenzy Hungry Shark World. "We're thrilled to see so many people enjoying Hungry Shark games each and every day, especially today as the Shark is celebrating its 6th birthday,” said Ian Harper, managing director of Future Games of London. “We have worked hard to create a fantastic new shark game using the latest technologies and packed with aquatic adventures.”
In Hungry Shark World, players will take control of a very Hungry Shark and try to survive as long as possible by eating everything that gets in their way. The game introduces three all-new immersive locations, from the beautiful beaches of the Pacific Islands to the icy depths of the Arctic Ocean and chaotic Arabian Sea. Each level comes with a wide array of prey and enemies to devour that are unique to each environment. Hungry Shark World also features 17 unique shark species to upgrade, each with its own characteristics and personality.
Fans can pre-register now on the Google Play Store to be the first to be notified when the game is released.
